Visiting Margate in the 1970s and early 80s were a highlight of my formative years. Sadly today it's a shadow of it's former self. Here's hoping the Dreamland renovation kickstarts a new golden era for this faded beauty.

If the land owner pulls their vendetta against the council & stops spewing their unbelievable lies and corruption, the Dreamland Trust can start work. The owner has not made a single effort to protect any part of the highly important, historic site & are intent on building inappropriate housing. They have left many highly important listed structures to fall into serious dilapidation with hopes of their eventual demolition. The council have saved the cinema, but the scenic is in serious danger...
