Klengel Hymnus for Maria Kliegel 28.1.2023

It’s been an honour to have been the very last student from eternal Maria Kliegel! After almost 15 years receiving lessons from her, the farewell moment arrived. I therefore feel very grateful I could close this beautiful chapter with loads of music!! Both at my final masters concert and also on this beautiful occasion, on January 28th, when we played Klengel’s Hymnus together with some of the students from Johannes Moser & Thomas Carroll (and Thomas himself!)
Many tears have been flowing during the last weeks, and Maria Kliegel deserves all the warmth of the cello sound after the many years she has been teaching, inspiring, motivating and encouraging young musicians. I’ve been really, really, really lucky!
