Already people in western countries are realising the exploitation done by corporates and businesses, that is why people in those countries are not getting married and not having children and birth rate is falling in those countries because they feel that raising a family is like having a financial burden, in India also this generation is starting to understand that wasting our lives for low wages by corporates is not worth it, that is why many people are choosing to not get married including me, that's why in countries like the South Korea, the politicians are introducing 4 day work week to prevent population decline and regulating the work hours to prevent exploitation by employers.

Job chhodna hi solution hai magar ye har koi nahin kar sakta. Kyunki India mein waise bhi jobs ki itni kami hai aur agar job chhodoge to koi baap apni beti nahin deta. Employees mental pressure mein rehte hain, boss ko face karte hain but jobs nahin chhod sakte because phir unka ghar kaun chalayega, baccho ki fees kaun bharega. Aur India ka law bahut zyada weak hai. Jahan Nirbhaya ko justice milne mein 8 years hi gaye wahan kuch kya hi expect kiya ja sakta hai. The only solution is be productive and set your boundaries.

1. employees don't be dumbassholes stay in unity... Ek jane k promotions/ benefits dete hai... Vo doosron k pole kholdeta hai..... Create union secretly from day 1 you enter.
2. utne hi pair pasaron jitna dihadi majdooroon k hoti hai..... Don't go for expensive brands: pubs iphones, Starbucks, Etc. Save 80℅ of income because any time you cud b fired, harassed, overloaded with work.
3. File public interest litigations against employee exploitations.
4. Government intervention is must, govt must carry proper audits. Create new rules to protect employees
5. Net profit ka 5℅ - 20℅ bhi nahi dete ye employees k

6. Legal advisors free for employees. Free lawyers (unions can fight)
7. If there is requirement of working 18 hours then the same work/responsibility/salary should be split among 3

A coin always have two sides my friend. Congratulations for your achievements though.. but here the discussion was on those who choose this path in any sort of pressure be it family or financial. 1000s standing on line shouldn't justify the toxicity in "most" of the companies if not all.. Everybody deserves a healthy environment. And this culture should be coming from those who are sitting on the top. I have a job and I get decent salary.. along with that I have a small start up, the income is still unstable but every penny I make out of it is worth it! And considering my job, its great, but, only because I am stable, shutting my eyes from the face of reality is not fair. It takes only 1 mail to loose everything..
As long as we have oversupply of human resources and lack of income this is here to stay. Company knows you are always replaceable. I am not saying having a healthy environment is not good, all I am saying this is just good in theory in real world no one is going to save you.
You saw that HDFC manager was shouting at his associates because they missed their target? It still happens in every private bank employees they are just not getting exposed. I have seen my friend keeps getting insulted by his manager works in a private bank.
