Amazing video! So much hard work put into it and it shows. Bravo! I am in love with the design of the Sovereign class from the moment we saw that amazing opening shot of it in First Contact. What a beautiful ship!
I absolutely love your Star Trek videos and get excited when a new one is available! To answer your question: I'd love to see you fully model the interior of the Sovreign-class!
It would be considered historical irony that the Sovereign Class U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E was constructed and launched from the San Francisco fleetyards orbiting Earth as it showed her story and history has come full circle as it was the same Shipyards where the Constitution Class was launched from nearly a century earlier in the 2240's.
The original Constitution-class Enterprise NCC-1701 was revolutionary when it first hit the small screen in 1966, a beloved '57 Chevy Bel Air. The refit and 1701-A from the motion pictures were sleeker '60 Chevy Bel Air Sport Coupes. Aaaah, but the Sovereign-class Enterprise NCC-1701-E is a McLaren Speedtail.
Hmm. You see the Sovereign is my favorite too. So there's a part of me that wants to point out every missed detail. But you've done a good job here. Your production keeps improving. So good work.
outstanding work. the deck layouts were a fine touch. anything sovereign you do, we'll watch. lemme know if you need any more ideas, such as weapons fire demonstrations on something other than superior shielding (galaxy class phasers vs that rickety ass bird of prey, looking at you) but yeah you killed it with this one, hats off
Thanks! The original enterprise has a helm and a navigation station so does enterprise D, what they purpose and how does it work. And lastly how do you steer a starship. Is there enough material to make an episode?
Thanks for the super thanks! The helm controlled the flight operations of a ship, including warp, impulse, and thruster control, while The console contained the flight control interface, which was designed to monitor and project a vessel's course and velocity. The console also included sensors to determine the position, speed, and trajectory of other objects and ships. From my understanding, The Enterprise uses several impulse engines on the primary and secondary hull including the Reaction control system (RCS), or RCS thrusters to control the spacecraft's attitude (roll, pitch, and yaw). They were fixed thrust, cold nitrogen gas-pressurized, self-contained propulsion systems using storable, hypergolic (self-igniting) propellants of nitrogen tetroxide and monomethyl hydrazine and therefore did not need an ignition system. I'm not sure if there is enough material to explain how the system work but I can look into it.
I'd love to see a deck by deck of the Enterprise D at some point, but it might take you a very long time with the number of decks which I understand could be an issue. Another great video here.
Yep, I wanna see 23-deck 3D schematic of the Big-E. Your models are very enjoyable. One thing though, I always thought there were no toilets in Federation starships because they just beam it straight out of your colon and back into the replicator. Besides, all that plumbing would be unsanitary especially during battle when there's a lot of damage and some decks lose gravity. Imagine all that plumbing spurting their contents everywhere in zero-g. Nasty! Someone will have to clean it all up.
You should consider watching the Enterprise E Minetrek build playlist. I did build out the E in all of her glories, deck by deck. I created the definitive deck plans for this class. A fully exploreable Enterprise E in a 1:1 scale.

Given how upon completion each Galaxy class had left several entire decks incomplete it would be cool if there was a way to show how each vessels internal design had changed over the life of each vessel
I always liked the imaginary 29th deck that, despite being the lowest point and should be directly against the ventral hull, somehow had Jefferies tubes that went even lower and led to a bottomless pit.
