- This is Cosmo, our new door sanding robot. When we have an employee bottleneck, we like to see if we can find a machine to solve the problem first. Cosmo allows one person to keep up with the doors being produced.

Yay a new episode! Love the information you guys give. I've run several large cabinet shops and last year left to start my own. it's really nice to see its even possible to make it to your level in today's world.
Are you happy with shape and sand machine for the edges or planning to replace it?
Do you guys have a problem with HDF shaker doors bowing or cupping?
Do you guys not have brushes on your heesemann?
If brushes worked. Everyone would have them. We got rid of 2 brush sanders this year
Oh don’t worry, we’re waiting for the day to get Cosmo. We have a Stanza denibber now and it has helped but doesn’t do it all.

Why use a 1-pc MDF door? A 2-pc with drop in panel is far superior for structural integrity and you don't have to barely touch the center panel.
