@@madmeaty9445 I’ve played a ridiculous amount of Red Dead Online and always ran the LeMats, decided to look for other games with LeMats and came across Hunt, it’s been a match made in heaven ever since lol I still suck but I will get good with these bad boys
@@NiceShotMando this game is punishing at the beginning but when you hit that one point after some time it really rewards you. And it is more casual than it looks compared to other games. Since you can cover your bad aim with better positioning and map knowledge but it all takes time.
@@madmeaty9445 The Lemat carbine does exist but it utilizes the Lemat centerfire 1869 model. It is the final version of the Lemat. You can find a video about it on the forgotten weapon channel
Those bear traps were crazy in this collection mate, wth. I've def. started taking alert trips when I'm doing cheap-er builds - so much versatility with the burn now. Great vid mate.

Another great video with some great shots as always. From watching your videos u have been using the Lemat Carbine a lot more myself. Very underrated gun. Do you like just standard ammo the best on it? I run FMJ a lot. I have found the standard shotgun shells to be a good choice since this update. No need for slugs at least for me.
Hey hoser! Cheers mate. I tried some fire ammo in the last clip whilst using the marksman varient, but I find myself rarely using special ammo as a solo, becuase it runs out so quickly! I agree, after the update the shotgun is very strong now. Perfectly viable without slugs. Also the mk2 carbine has one of the best skins in hunt imo 😁

Solo is hard for anyone who isnt a 6* god right now because of mmr. Im constantly in matches where multiple members on enemy teams outrank me. Its hard to have a good time. Been playing soul survivor more, consequently. Because having no mmr balancing feels more balanced than the mmr balancing lol
@@curty_bear it's rough in 6 stars too, a solo 6 star vs full teams of 6 stars is not fun. Hopefully they look into it again because I don't think it's working as intended. Soul survivor is great for taking a break and having a laugh with other hunters.

Just started playing a few days ago, going about it the way any new player would. Till i met a 4000hr player that said to bring alert traps and bear traps. Hopped in duos vs. trios, any trio that chased us or pushed didnt last very long lmao. Wiped the server then he took me for a tour around the map for hunt dollars lmao

With unlimited headshot range there isn't much need for it. I play the mk2 carbine as a medium to close range weapon and normal ammo works perfectly fine.

personally im running a 7950x3d, 7900xtx with 64gb of ddr5, all overclocked/undetvolted, i can run the game at 80-ish fps on 1440 ultra, but even then its all so blurry beyond 30m, i tried force overriding the antialiasing since temporal is ass, but it doesnt seem to work at all, still trying to tinker with it tho
When you click on each setting in the graphic tab it provides a bit of information, some of those settings add blurring and crap you don't want. I'm still testing but in this video most of my settings are on low. But texture, texture filtering and anti aliasing max. I'm also on 1440p using a 12700k and a 3080. I will put a video out soon on the best setting options 👍

Got a friend who is new to the game and he was getting annoyed that sometimes he gets smoked from a shotgun or melee weapon when he has a rifle or a rifle when he has a shotgun. I've been telling him to run LeMatt Carbine but he won't listen!

Ok fair enough :) I would suggest your friend uses quartermaster and either takes a large shotgun with a medium rifle or large rifle with a medium shotgun. Another suggestion for a new player is to get them in the firing range so he can test out all the weapons on you and the dummies.

Most 4/5 stars got bumped up to 6 stars, it used to feel like an achievement becoming 6 stars, now it's impossible to escape for most people. Hopefully Crytek are still looking into it. The lemat is one of my favourites along with the drilling, I like to take budget loadouts and enjoy the challenge vs meta enjoyers. After the recent changes to shotguns, the lemat feels pretty good without slugs. Slugs can be a pain, having to ADS.

Can you pick up two bounties? I’m somewhat new so I never realised. Also I’m stuck in 6 star games, being 6 star mmr myself and i’m only bloodline rank 40, no prestige’s, roughly 20ish hours on the game. im no where near as experienced as the people i’m playing against, any tips from anyone on how to get out of the higher rank so I can spend more time learning the game against similar time played/skill players?

My only suggestion would be to give some feedback in the hunt discord, because clearly this shouldn't be the way. Regarding bounties you can pick up two but they have to be different bounties.

The same people are the one complaining on the steam forums about cheaters, not saying there aren't any but the game is not that popular to have many cheats...
I have a fair few hours in the game, I have only ever come across 3 obvious cheaters, which I reported, with video evidence and they were banned within 24hours.

The slow bullet speed can be a problem but medium to close range the lemat is a beast 😁
