Some additional tips as a veteran solo player with 6000 hours: 1) Use silent weapons such as the crossbow and centennial silenced shorty. This allows you to 3rd party other teams fighting each other without revealing your position. Not only does it conceal your position to the team you are attacking, but also any other teams that might be coming from behind. It also means their teammates won't be able to track you down after you get your first kill. They probably won't even realize there's another team attacking which allows you to go for second and third kills. 2) The key to success in Hunt: Showdown is to always be aiming for headshots. Never repeek from the same position unless you are certain the enemy doesn't know where you are. 3) Traits like greyhound make it easier to collect clues in the first 10 minutes without having to constantly stop to regenerate stamina. Save your stamina shot for when you need to chase down enemy teams with the bounty or escape being pursued. Don't waste it in the first 10 minutes of the game. 4) Regen shots are the most undervalued consumable. Unlike vitality shots or medkits they are the only consumable to give you passive health restoration. Don't sleep on them. Vitality shots can be useful, but most of the time unnecessary if you have a regen shot. They also work well with other traits such as physician and vigor. Sometimes I'll bring 2 large regen shots into a game with vigor and I find I don't even need to use any medkits 5) Set mice keybinds for your primary and secondary tool slots. This enables you to pull out your melee weapon as quickly as possible.

Good video. Im glad they nerfed necromancer into oblivion. Solo is supposed to come with a big disadvantage. Its meant to be challenging and unforgiving. Which is why solo was so thrilling years ago before necro was introduced to the game.
I agree it should be hard. But solo is borderline unplayable now. I personally play a lot of solos so I'm a bit biased but... Overall I don't think solo should be where it's at. I personally believe burn speed should be returned to what it was since it's way too fast now. Keep the fast burn speed if you were hit by like fire bombs or dragons breath but otherwise it's dumb as heck rn imo. Then you have to realize the MMR was changed so solos play at their level. I'm a 6 star and usually play against only 6 star lobbies. I disagree with this change as well and think that a solo playing against 3 of the same mmrs as him is borderline unplayable again. I'd have no problem them not letting solos get into way lower lobbies but me fighting three 6 stars is insane. I stream almost all of my games every weekend and you can come by and watch. I lose 95% of my games and I'm pretty solid at the game. 1.83 kd 4k hrs. (Not that this is the biggest indication of a great player but yeah) overall imo solos have been nerfed into oblivion and anyone playing solo is kinda nuts now. I don't like playing with teammates and my last thing I'd say is I should get matched against 1 six star on the other teams, everyone else has to be 5 or less. I think this would be good since it still doesn't put solos into lower lobbies like it used to but also doesn't make a solo man army fight against the best players at their rank.

If you trigger a sound trap, as long as you're heading to the center of the map and you're fast then it doesn't matter because noone can ambush you :) But when you have to move along the side of the map if you make noise you're fked
I disagree. If I trigger a sound trap towards the side of the map, and someone else is ahead of me or good at reading the map greyout they could definitely wait for me and in turn make me screwed. Happens all the time. Plus the direction of crows and ducks show where your coming from. So players indeed can still get you cause of hitting sound traps

It is already kinda budget. Romero for rival maybe. But you know you are screwed when it is not a one shot. And you can take usual regular pax not trueshot as it is a cheaper one. Axes instead of a spear mb but spear op.
the necro nerf has really sucked some of the fun out of the game for me. i miss the chaos.... also the necro nerf alone was enough, but throw ontop the burning buffs, more damaging traps, broken mmr, and trades being absolutely ridiculous now. full restoration doesn't mean shit when you die to 2 bear traps lol. its real rough out there
Faxxx. I didn't even know if this video would be worth it cause solos got nerfed so hard. It sucks for sure. I love playing solo and they went pretty far for us imo. But I made the video and it's nice to see some people at least are still interested in playing solo even after the huge nerf
Dude, I don't see any cheat like in many leet players and your play is totally legit and high MMR, but Jesus, the sequence at 31:06 is showing a bit of luck I miss myself : 1) running toward the warehouse while using a syringe (big NO for me, 99,99% chances to be shot), then trying to enter the building by removing a trap while the ennemies you just scanned before can aim you from the inner of the building, then at 31:32 ("they'll coming up") spotting an ennemi almost entering the building but still turning your back to him while climbing the stairs and trying to launch a grenade wich takes many loooooong seconds.... You made me sweat. 😓 Anyway you die like a normal person and I like you for that. It makes me accept your skill way more easily. That's called sympathy I guess. About the content : I'm not okay with your loadouts, I think new players should definitely have brass knuckles to kill immolators, and 40$ rifles with fire bullets or dumdum bullets, and not spend money in buying all tools (a single 5mn regen syringe is enough). But for the rest it's ok.
Appreciate the comment boss. Also as far as me moving towards the warehouse I believe it worked in my favor cause I had surefoot and was able to run and use the shot at the same time. Also they were not close to the balcony to my knowledge and we're fighting a different team so there wasn't much they would've been able to do since I was running in to close the small gap. Also sometimes doing what they don't expect can be good. Then as far as me removing the traps I literally scanned and showed they were on the other side of the building. So they couldn't have shot at me so that's why I removed the traps and didn't get killed. As well for the grenade they were slightly far enough back to not want to push me while I was throwing it. I get what your sentiment is but these things right here was just me taking advantage of the situation and you gottah figure too, these dudes don't expect for the solo to be the one to push in and be the aggressor so that's another thing that worked in my favor. But yeah I die a lot... Literally lose about 90+% of the time. And no animosity from me, appreciate the kind words! 🙏
@@NOAURATV I think I don't have the same way to "measure" distance when using the spectral vision. They seemed closer in my opinion. @@TheRebelDaniel the frame rate you can get is usually better with a better performing PC. So if your getting 60fps then I'd say you have an opportunity to get a good amount better with an upgraded PC. But if your playing already on 120-144 frames then I wouldn't worry
I stopped soloing. I rather play with random idiots at least its fun. Otherwise the duo/trio as soon as finds out you are solo they just rush you with 6 shotguns.
I did just the opposite. I used to play teams with randoms, but a good portion of the time, I either basically just ended up playing solo essentially because they either die, or are too scared to actually fight, and end up running away and hiding. I definitely prefer the solo style over randoms. But I love playing with my buddies.
Nah it's actually so fun ti play wit Randoms some times but it can also be so fuckin aggravating, like the lack of game sense sometimes is so painful it's funny
The learning curve I wouldn't say is the most insane. I do have a full beginners guide if you did want to watch that before buying to see what your really getting into. However that's a long 1 hr video. I love this game and if you like hard core ish shooters you will at least enjoy this game a fair bit. However for solo play it is not easy and imo not recommended for brand new players. You will want to drop the game if you start as a solo. You can play with random teammates but I don't like in general but I'd recommend you do that before playing as a complete new player by yourself. I can answer more questions if you have them as well!
Shotgun is easiest for sure. I will be making the medium range and long range very soon though and that should answer most of your questions. Obviously though with medium and long you want to try to distance yourself and solo each player of the trio you're fighting.
People that play exclusovely solo have a wierd unwarranted vibe where they think things are owed to them despite this game being meant to be played in teams
@@NOAURATV legend for responding, I work night shift on EST so I don't have much time for twitch but I will see if i can make it to one I know what each thing gernally does but since the game updated to 1896 my quailty went to garbo and so did everything rendering I used to run max settings at 90fps now I can't seem to break 30 and everything is ugly and renders slow as could be, you also just gained a new sub!:)
You can move around the map without alerting sound traps easily without beastface or survivalist. Honestly I think it's a waste of skill points, especially on a fresh hunter.
@@NOAURATV That is true, but is moving slightly faster an actual advantage? It can help you find the boss first (but mostly it depends where you spawn), but do you actually want to defend the boss lair as a solo? I think being the first at the boss as a solo is probably more of a disadvanage most of the time. Only time you really need to be fast is when chasing, and these times you usually just go loud anyway.
@@ondrejvasak1054 so imo as a solo in general I think it is best to defend boss lair. Even more important if you have traps and a close range loadout. Which this video is all about. Now it's not always amazing defending the lair but in my experience it is the best way to play. If it's solo bounty then the teams usually run into each other outside and if it's double bounty I hate pushing in as a solo cause it's usually a 1v3 and I'd rather have already killed the boss and set up traps for them to push me instead of the other way around.
@@NOAURATV Interesting perspective. Personally I prefer to approach the boss lair silently and pick people off from unexpected angles with the option to fall back if they start being too aggressive, but with short range loudout, it probably makes sense to try to get to the lair first. Defending boss lair can be tricky, because if the enemy team decides to make a 3 person coordinated push, you are basically screwed. However, it is also true that this does not happen that often at my MMR level (hight 4 star to low 5 star, although lately I have been getting occasional 6 star as well). I sort of assumed that 6 starts would be better at this, but maybe not.
Woah I literally just stwrted playing this game recently just finished a stream with a lucky team getting 2 bountys on my video gamw account was alot of fun finally getting the hang of it and now the legend himself post at about the same time this is so weird timing wise and mostlu just legendary 😖😖🦋🦋
Guys i still don't understand, why he is getting restoration when he is necroing himself, also he has restoration while killing enemy. That might be a silly question, but i don't get it
Necromancer has been changed. If your in a team you no longer lose health during using Necro. However it's a brun trait now and is lost after it's used. You can only have one and can buy it for 4 upgrade points. Same for solos but it gives you a health restoration (same as a boss banish) when the solo revives. Then for me killing someone and getting a health restoration I believe I had the burn trait rampage. It allows you to get a full health restoration after killing someone. You lose this also after it's used
I been playing really well lately. Verterlli Cyclone for life. The video is really good. Definitely appreciate the raw footage . I see too many clips that are the most 1/1,000,000 situations and there really isn't much to learn from those.
now in 6 stars 90% of players don't know how to play the game, after the change of the mmr rules, everything became different, I as an active 6 star player tell you this, now everyone can get to 6 stars in a couple of matches.
@@vismax most players I play against are pretty solid at the game. But yeah there's a lot of ppl who should be in 5s and I'm probably included. I used to be a 6star before MMR changes like 25% of the time.
6 stars are known for pushing players over bosses. So I disagree and it's not even an MMR thing tbh. It's just an easy opportunity alot of players in all elos are willing to take if they hear a sound trap and know it would be easy to setup for a kill and just wait somewhere
@@NOAURATV i play on asia servers 6 stars so i can only speak for that and have also heard experts such as rachta, neeno etc advocate getting to boss as opposed to hoping they walk through your ambush after a sound trap was triggered. If its a sure bet then yah elo dont matter. But lower star elos are really desperate for kills and this may be their only chance. Maybe your right though and i should start ambushing more.
@@theartofcompetition5965 whoa whoa whoa. I never said this is what you should do. I said it's what happens. And yeah all the good players can say whatever they want but most ppl in high elos do not prioritize getting to the bounty. I personally try to as much as I can especially as a solo. I like having control over the main objective but in general I'm not saying ppl shouldn't focus on boss and getting the lair captured. Im just saying if I set off sound traps on an easy to read greyout, people that hear it and know I'm coming their direction will often go for that cause many ppl would rather fight then go for boss
Yep they're valued at 75 bounty while big ones are valued at 125 bounty. After the match you get paid out for the amount of bounty you got. Kinda confusing and I'm not sure the exact amount each bounty pays you
Forcing me to play with long ammo apes every game is why i uninstalled. That and the server quality being trash. Why is tickrate less than 120. Its 12 players.😊
@@obstdealer-original1443 there are components of a beginner guide In this. But that's just for ppl who are new to soloing but in general I disagree. I talk mainly about traits/close range loadouts for solos. And I'm showing my thought process during playing a solo. So how isn't that a solo guide?
@NOAURATV Yeah, the rest of the video is more like a 'guide' for solo play, although you kind of just played and explained what you did. But since every game is going to be different, the explanation isn't very valuable. Maybe a bit helpful, but there isn't really an explanation of how to act if you're solo against trios in specific situations. At the 'beginning' of the video, you explain basic stuff, like for example, if the map is grey, you can't pick up a clue there and the boss won't be there (except for wild ones like Rotjaw and Hellborn), and other similar basics. This kind of information is more for literal beginners. It’s not what I expected from the video, to be honest. Also, when you start watching it and see all these beginner tips but you're not a beginner, you might feel like this video isn't the right one-because of all the beginner tutorial content. Not saying the video is bad or anything, just wasn't what I expected when I read the title.
@@obstdealer-original1443 I appreciate the comment and am not trying to argue but I never showed that cause a compound was greyed out that means no boss is there... Or at least I don't remember making that a point. I think you might be referring to me saying oh yeah I figured the boss wouldn't be at the bottom of the grey out cause of how it greyed out after the first clue. I did say it after it was apparent and the team Banished the boss but I was meaning before they banished I knew it wasn't going to be towards the bottom, but towards the top since it started greying out at the bottom. And also as far as the traits and loadout I'm telling in depth what I'm using for yes beginners but also players who are not so I can show my exact thought process. Which is the WHOLE POINT OF THIS VID. From start to finish here's why I'm picking the traits I am, detailing why I picked everything in my loadout for solo play. I don't get why me going into great detail and explaining these things in particular would be only for beginners. Even if your not new to the game instead of going in without explaining my traits and loadout I'm explaining them so you understand my thoughts before going in alone.

Suffer like I do 😂😂 aye tho bro thanks for the watch and I hope all is going good for you! 🙏
@@NOAURATVI agree with not liking teammates, a lot of mine take 20 business days to res me whilst they run around and loot the bodies, but unfortunately my aim fucking sucks worse than a granny with Parkinson’s so I couldn’t even solo a duo team let alone a trio

@@theartofcompetition5965 I'm not saying stealth like you can't do anything. I'm saying not setting off sounds traps aka crows, dog kennels, chicken coupes, and horses or cows. Idc of your killing zombies I was just mentioning in the video to keep in mind killing hives, spearing immolators, and killing armoreds is loud and can be heard from a good distance.
@@NOAURATV For sure im kinda just highlighting a big difference between the old hunt and new hunt. I used to be super stealthy. Now ive completely retooled my strategy
@@theartofcompetition5965 yeah not hitting sound traps though is a good rule to go by to not get setup easily. But I get what your saying
If you trigger a sound trap, as long as you're heading to the center of the map and you're fast then it doesn't matter because noone can ambush you :)
But when you have to move along the side of the map if you make noise you're fked

Anyway you die like a normal person and I like you for that.

I have a question, how much does a good pc influence a better gameplay? Or it's just my 3 star excuse to not getting better? 😅
@@TheRebelDaniel the frame rate you can get is usually better with a better performing PC. So if your getting 60fps then I'd say you have an opportunity to get a good amount better with an upgraded PC. But if your playing already on 120-144 frames then I wouldn't worry

HEY! iv never played Hunt but im interested in it.. as a solo gamer is this going to be the worlds most painful learning curve?
The learning curve I wouldn't say is the most insane. I do have a full beginners guide if you did want to watch that before buying to see what your really getting into. However that's a long 1 hr video. I love this game and if you like hard core ish shooters you will at least enjoy this game a fair bit. However for solo play it is not easy and imo not recommended for brand new players. You will want to drop the game if you start as a solo. You can play with random teammates but I don't like in general but I'd recommend you do that before playing as a complete new player by yourself. I can answer more questions if you have them as well!
@21:55 7 shots from a silenced poison nagant and two spear throws are enough to take down a meathead quickly and silently
2 throws by themselves is not. You gotta throw it 3 times and pull it 3 times. Unless your saying plus the poison shots from the nagant.
Can you make a graphics settings guide please
I don't know a lot about that so I'm not sure if I will...

How to play rifles solo? Not sniper. How to push with rifles? And should I? What to do if not? Shotgun feels easiest to me
Shotgun is easiest for sure. I will be making the medium range and long range very soon though and that should answer most of your questions. Obviously though with medium and long you want to try to distance yourself and solo each player of the trio you're fighting.

Yes you can. But it's not practical to move as fast if you don't have the beastface+

Any compound next to a grey out does NOT have the Bounty.
You lose this also after it's used
Good sheet! A++

furthermore 6 star lobbies are abushing less even.if they heard sound traps and instead are rushing to boss and bunkering
This video isn't really about solo gameplay/guide, it's a tutorial/guide for new players.
@@obstdealer-original1443 but I agree there's a lot I can improve on and will be making more of these videos with different types of guns and loadouts.
