This is a review of the KG-1000G plus

This is one of the first videos that I’ve ever made in my life. I hope that somebody gets enjoyment and it helps anybody that is on the fence about buying this radio decide what they want to do for their self. I enjoy the radio so far the last two months. Before I bought this radio there was not many reviews showing the different conditions for the power you get and how to take the front face plate off to install it in your vehicle. Like in subscribe if you want I appreciate you taking the time to watch my video. I am going to do the review for nine more radios like the KG-935g and more coming and range testing on radios also. 👍

The radio requires 13.8 volts. No less. If you’re going to use this as a base radio, you need a power supply that supplies a fixed 13.8 volts or an adjustable one that will supply more than 13.8 and dial it in. The radio will tell you what voltage it is getting.

Whenever I put it on a 13.8 volt 30 amp power supply it did 46 watts.
