I have four of these. They do have stereo mode. Connect both to your device then on the primary unit press the BT button until you hear a chime. Then do the same to the secondary unit. After a few seconds both units will chime and the primary unit will have the BT light on in blue while the secondary unit the BT light will be white.

Very nice work here...the bigger Rave has more air push of course...better for outdoor events. But the Flare is excellent, and okay beside a couple of chairs on the patio or porch. I owned DOSS XL and tried W-King D8 D9...the Rave and Flare are better. I sold the DOSS and returned the W-Kings (D9 new and D8 from a friend.)
I urge you to pick up the rave partycast pair of two of them if you ever get a chance. You won't regret it. The best speakers I've found at this size and price, and I did research for a year before buying. Lots of comparisons of every brand possibly known to man, and these are IT, out of everything. The size up from the neos. Got two of them and it's insanely loud, bassy, and clear at any level. Highly recommend!

They essentially are the same speaker but the trance go has no lights which gives 6 more hours of battery life but you can get the same with rave neo turning the lights off so it’s whatever you want
Hey, you mention below that you can pair 2 Flare 2's in STEREO (left/right seperation). Holding down Bluetooth simply pairs them in Partycast. Did you figure out how to pair them in stereo?
Hey Sammy so real quick the party cast setup is actually not a stereo sound it creates a mono sound. The Flare 2s don't have the option for stereo mode but the neos do! Just hold down both the bluetooth buttons on each rave neo and then they will begin to look for each other. Once they detect the other neo they sync in stereo and sort by color on the bluetooth indicator. The color blue is left and white is right. Hope that helps clear it up

I have a chance to get 4 brand new all for $75. Here is my question? Does it stay powered on? So if I leave and come back will it auto reconnect? My W-king great on sound but shuts down after 10 mins of no sound which I hate to I would have to go back up stairs to turn it back on or even in bed if I stop music then I have to literally have to get up and turn on again.
Partybox 100 no lie is def powerful but two of these are better sounding in terms of sound separation and stereo but the partybox is a beast in terms of Bass and loudness although i would argue two can get loud enough
Does holding the power + volume up perform a reset on the speaker? Also noticed that it takes the specified 2s to power on/off while plugged in, but roughly 3-4 when turning on using battery power. Is this normal?
Sorry for the late response but in regards to the power on and off it does take a tad longer battery powered because when you plug it in it has access to the 120v outlet and powers the speaker more than the battery and it’s completely normal as for the reset I am not sure I have to look that up
Not true entirely you can pair up to 2 phones but whoever is playing music it will stop that phone and go to the other. That’s not on Soundcore that’s just standard Bluetooth protocol. They should have made a feature that allows for smoother switching

This is the rave neo 50w. I just didn’t call it the 50w because that’s not part of the title of the speaker. But I say yes because it’s bigger, has more room for separation, deeper bass, and overall sounds mighty in every case I’ve used them in

Great Review, i like the dancing part LoL, i love my Rave Neos, and Flare 2s, the Flare 2 has a better soundstage for it is in Stereo. I should have discovered this few years back for i kept on buying pricey speakers like Marshal, Marshal are good quality speakers but i think theyre over priced.
Good question, I’m taking the mega boom 3 off the vs list not for price because it needs a major refresh and is pretty much starting to become outdated in comparison to other big speakers. So if it came down to the motion plus and neo I’m taking the neo everyday not cause of wattage or size but for connivence in battery supply, better bass response and sound quality at high volume and most of all it’s got tons of features in the app
With the bluetooth button I think you can pair up n make a stereo...... switch on n Jus press the bluetooth button on both speakers until it turns white and starts blinking..... Both will pair up ....Then connect yo fone...... Don't forget to give the result
I find most di equipment and add ons to be quite gimmicky. Only one I've found that actually does it half way right is the JBL party box 1000, a few others through the years. It actually has a light up drum pad with the squares you can manually hit to make any noise basically, guitar, drums, bass, piano, scratch, whatever it may be, it's got it, and there isn't a bunch of latency and BS. If the others are going to put something like that onto the speakers when most people use them once to get a chuckle in front of their friends at a party and never use them again, they should make them RIGHT and FINISH the product, it seems like they just care about their deadline, and I feel like most people out there weren't even really expecting Anker to release NEW stuff anyways, so not really too much pressure, so just take the time it needs and make it RIGHT. Otherwise, what's the point? Putting some feature on there most don't even use because it's so lack luster and adding that feature to the pricing is kind of a rip off if ya ask me, but whetevs.

I have a pair of these speakers and they do sound amazing. However I have found one fault if you want to use them to mix music as Dj speakers. Even if the speakers are connected via the AUX port using a cable there is a latency or delay that so far I have not been able to find a solution for. The only workaround has been to do the beatmatching in noise cancelling headphones before sending the audio signal/music to the speakers with the mixer. Other than that the speakers are perfect, just not good for a Dj setup even using AUX with cables.

It will work for home gym and you don’t have to use the app it’s not mandatory but I would still use it for updates to the speaker

Yes but you have the option to have it turn off after so much time has passed and no music is playing in the app

There is no microphone on the speaker but you can use ur phone while connected to it to answer a call but it will be played back to the speaker
