hey man gr8 videos, i like the 40 mph build ( awesome B-D ). did the batt pack upgrade helped with the top speed? bc i have a GTX AT an it tops out at 21-22mph . im 130 lbs
No the battery pack just helps with range and I can stay in GT the whole time. You need 8in wheels and you’ll be able to hit 25-26mph. Get 8in mbs or Trampa tires. These are 8in blue primo tires from Trampa. 8in are a lot better in my opinion
helllo Matt, a couple questions here XD. i got thrown off my gtx today at 15 mph, would u recommend to swap the esc's and remote for the torque board parts? i dont want that to happen again and if i send the board to evolveUSA they'll just change the esc's ( probably ) just for the wheels to lock up for a split second again,. perhaps changing that could fix whatever issue it was that cause it, no mechanical problems on the board( bearings, belts, motors are running well ) must be some software bug between the controller and esc idk, hence i dont want to use their electrical components. also, can i use the same bms? thanks in advance.

Have you ever had any issues with your evolve i bought a gtx and it was nothing but problems burnt out motors and even the esc has burnt out two times I ended up returning mine it was cool while it worked though
Never had a single issue man knock on wood. I got mine 2 years ago, ran through the stock battery pack and now get more range than a carbon or gtx. It has over heated and shut off on me but after 10 min it’s good to go again.

After riding my evolve for too long in slightly long grass the motors started smoking !

Its likely a long hair boy batt replacement. From the looks of the video he is in Florida. LHB is also there.
