FUJIFILM INSTAX Mini 40 vs. Mini 11 vs. Mini 90 - Comparison Overview

- Comparison between the Fujifilm Instax Mini 40, Mini 11 and Mini 90 neo classic cameras.
The Mini 40 and the Mini 11 are the same camera in a different shell.
The Mini 40 and the Mini 90 look similar but are very different cameras.
The Mini 90 offers lot more functions like double exposure, flash control, bulb exposure, tripod mount and macro.
The Mini 40 and Mini 11 have a selfie mode but the Mini 90 has a macro mode which works in the same way.
These are currently the most popular cameras for the Mini film which is like a Polaroid.

I love my mini 90, I gifted my sisters mini 11’a and they always say my pictures come out sharper and less overexposed than theirs 🥲
Interesting, generally my Mini 11 does a great job with exposure. Are they taking a lot of pictures outside in bright sun?

In the popular mini format the mini 90 is my choice. I hope someday Fujifilm releases an Instax Wide camera with the features of the mini 90 but I think that will not happen.
Totally! A wide camera like the mini 90 would be totally awesome. I have no idea why they are not releasing new cameras for the wide format?!?!? I guess they see the financials and the mini is much more popular. But maybe the mini is more popular because there are better cameras for it as well.
@@matejphoto A wide camera with Mini 90 features will kill every other Fujifilm instax in existence. It will wipe Square completely and mini almost completely (except for the film) UNLESS....
Fujifilm prices the wide camera waaaaay higher.

I absolutely loved the design of the mini 40. It was one of the main reasons why I bought this camera. Unfortunately the flash is broken and the pictures turned out black.
So I was struggling if I get the mini 40 again or the mini 90.
After seeing this video I‘ve decided to go with the mini 90.
I love both equally but I do really enjoy the features with a timer or turn out the flash if it’s not needed.
These are the only things I‘ve struggled with while having the mini 40.
With the mini 40 some pictures turned out too bright and if you want to take a picture with your friends it can be struggling to fit all persons in one frame. I always had to ask another person or had to accept that at least one of my friends (or me) isn’t in that picture.
The timer feature on the mini 90 solves the problem.
Still figuring out what modes are the best, it’s a bit trial and error.
I would say both cameras 40 and 90 are worth buying.
It really depends on what you want to focus on and what features you want to have in a Polaroid camera.
I love my instax mini 40. I bought mine for 90,99 today and i can,t stop taking pictures 😊i love the fujifilm instax mini 40 black😊i love its colour,i love its design so 80,s90,s so retro😊👍🏾🙄

I've been looking for a Mini 90 but I can't find it, do you think this model has already been discontinued?
If you are in the US amazon seems to have it in stock. For some strange reason the black one is about $10 more expensive than the others. There are links in the video description.

It all depends on who is the gift for. For teenager and adult I would get the mini 90. For kids i would get the Mini 11. I am glad that you found the video useful:)

Hi, which camera has the better automatic mode?
The mini 11 and mini 40 are the same camera on the inside, so those would be equivalent. I would have to test the Mini 11 vs. Mini 90 to have a definitive answer, but I doubt there will be that much of a difference.
If you are planning to use manual mode only, I would suggest the Mini 11 or 40. On the mini 90 you can accidentally set the wrong settings.
- will the little scratches of the lens of then sensors, specially the flash light sensor, affect the quality of the Photo?
• I also clean the inside of my Camera, in the Rubber part I brush it with clean and soft make up brush, and wipe it with wipes. Is it okay?
Hard to tell without seeing how bad the scratches are. But generally scratches on lenses dont show up on pictures very much.

The camera model that I have is Instax mini 40, it has a AE Light sensor and Flash light sensor, I think I may have scratched both while cleaning it with cotton, but its not that rough, i think its just a mild scratch but it is visible when you see it. Last question.

What’s the difference between the Mini 70 and 90?
The Mini 90 is more advanced and I think also it is a newer model.
Then there is the design.
Do they use the same film?
Yes they do. The Instax Mini film.

If you want simple: Mini 11 or Mini 40.
If you want to experiment: Mini 90.
Pictures at parties: Mini 11 or Mini 40.
When deciding between Mini 11 and Mini 40, it is all about the design/look of the camera and cost (e.g. are you willing to pay extra $30 for a different look).

For mini format the Mini 90 is my favorite. For Square I like the lomo'instant. For wide I only have the 300. The RF70 looks great but I am not paying $900 for an instax camera (for now;)

All three cameras use the same film.
dont get the mini 90, it stopped working for me after like 2 months and will get an error message and there's almost no way on how to fix
Yeah I was also looking for an instax and it may be a good instax like the quality and all the modes but many have complained about instax mini 90
