    Loved your use of the acronym of MATES . . . Math, Art, and Technology to visualize Engineering and Science. No doubt @BradyJohnston would appreciate the Australian "Mates" part . . . as in G'Day Mates! Terrific overview Joe!

    These tremendously good ideas would _NEVER_ have been possible with capitalism and Maya, for example. The _community_ provides the amazing tool called Blender, and it is orders of magnitude more valuable than anything the privatized market could _ever_ produce. I wish people could understand the significance instead of burying their heads in the ideological sands of ignorance.

      Not at the moment. It's an ongoing project I'm working on for one of Prof. Lessard's courses. When I finish it I will probably do a breakdown as part of one of the Blender & Science episodes.
