People should NOT interfere with the mother cat disciplining her kittens. At the end, we can see she did no harm to the kittens, but discouraged them from misbehaving and playing in the litterbox, then she always kissed them, showing her affection. Its NATURAL.
I'm sure you're right in 99% of the cases, but i've seen lots of kittens and cat moms, never seen one pick up a kitten by the ear. I would have made the exception and intervened.
If they were humans, I'd say she seems like an overprotective first mom, but since they are cat's, I think she's an overprotective first time mom, but really she should have a quite space without people where she can take them if she wants to.

She's like any mum of toddlers, she's sleep deprived from feeding and constantly keeping them safe and they're playing on her last nerve! I have days like that with just one toddler getting into everything all day after getting me up in the night!
Reading this comment remindind me once when my brother and I were sitting in the kitchen. We had to be in high school at the time.. we started joking around and laughing and our mom in the living room screemed at the top of her lungs "STOP LAUGHING!!!" My brother and I stopped, looked at each other and bursted out laughing because we both knew our controlling overbearing mom was nuts
@Sound of Jesus You might be right but I want to mention that many parents are extremely narcissistic and lack empathy, so can destroy their children's lives! It's usually caused by traumatic experiences in their own childhoods; however, it doesn't make it okay. My childhood was horrendous and some people don't even believe what happened to me. I won't go into the details here though and I don't have time anyway. 😕

They let the kittens out. If you wait, and let momma cat let them out, she wont go crazy teying to round them up. Plus, they look a little old for her to try and carry. Maybe this is her first litter. She should be more relaxed with them wondering. Also, she may not feel completely safe there herself. Maybe she is new to the home herself. Many reasons can be behind her nervousness. We don't know enough about the situation to know why.

The momma only acts this way when they have not built trust in the home, people, BEFORE having the kittens. She is way too nervous. I feel bad for her. But sometimes it cant be helped. This Mommy is so conscientious …. you only need to see one video where the mother hisses at and moves away from her kittens to give you the shivers.... so the little group were standing there not knowing which way to move. Going toward the mother was a no-no. All but broke my heart seeing that video. That Mommy was the very antithesis of what this mother knows as Duty.

トイレで遊べば、せっかく埋めた糞の匂いが出てくる。それは猫として避けなければならない。ドアの前で遊んでいれば、突然に開いて怪我することもある。やってはいけないことをしようとした子猫に「ダメだよ！」って教えてるわけで、虐待じゃない。当然、噛むのも加減してるから、「可哀想」ってことはないでしょ。ひまわりちゃん、しっかり教育していて、良い母猫だと思います。
猫のことよく知らないので、動画を見てひやひやしてましたが、そういう意味があるのですね。
