I live 10 minutes away from Shepton Mallet, I've not been in the prison though I've always wanted to. I've met one of the tour guides, he was a prison officer there and he did a talk to my fibromyalgia support group. I wish I'd known you were going to be there, I could have come and said hello. Hope you enjoyed visiting South west, theres loads of lovely and haunted places to visit. We're good at making cider, but you need to go to the cider farms for the proper rough stuff !! X

Great high spike on the rempod near the end over 9, I have the same Mel/rempod gadget what I like about it is radios or electrics do not effect the reading so when the rempod goes off and you get a reading something is effecting it that you can question. Great video guys keep the good true investigations going.

You def. got some activity but I would be surprised if you you didn't get anything there in HMP Shepton Mallet. It all kicked off when Most Haunted went there!??! There are alot of fairly recent strong emotions left in prisons, some residual, others I believe are intelligent aware spirits. I mean if you did a 20 year stretch or spent 30 years of your life in there at different times, or worked there as a screw for 40 years, it makes sense that you would be attracted back there after the death of you're physical body? I heard the voice and some of those bangs were loud. Enjoyed watching this guys. Good investigation.

Glad to see Griff back, I laughed when you spoke about no 13 I was thinking the same how much more bad luck than being in prison. Ste you appear so sceptical and unafraid is that your video persona and really you are scared. Wish you were able to catch more evidence. All paranormal investigators ask the spirits to knock, why ? There must be more interesting ways to communicate. If the spirit is only energy and has no physical body how can they knock, their”hands” would pass straight through the wall or door. I think the banging comes from a different reason, a lot of investigators say they feel reverberation through the floor, do you agree. Whatever I’m a convinced believer and enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work. The woman you heard was probably Sarah you spoke quite disrespectful to her, I know you were only trying to cause a reaction but she wouldn’t. Stay safe 🙏🏻
Thank you for your comment it's very much appreciated. I'm (Ste) a full on believe in the paranormal but I don't get that scared anymore walking around in the dark investigating like I used to. We ask for a bunch of things for them to do if they can but most the time all we ever seem to get are knocks and bangs. We would be happy for them to do anything at all. Thank you for watching
Unfettered One I agree they should never be asked to “perform” . They should be treated with respect, but sometimes the investigator is not sensitive enough to pick up signals. My point re. more interesting was to communicate, I was referring to light, or energy changes etc. As for your comment on gadgets and devices they have their purpose. When the spirit needs to get a message across or when they are showing the investigator where to find their murdered body, there have been amazing results from the spirit box. Leading to peace for the soul and closure for the family.

During WW2, Shepton Mallet was a millitary prison in which many were beaten to death or starved to death. It really was a place of horrors, but was kept quiet, a bit like the 'London cages.' I was told by a guard who had worked there.

I did time here circa 1979’-1980’ I think it was decommissioned in 2013 and it’s possibly the oldest prison in England but haunted who knows?

The other place here which we all had experience was the watchman’s tower where he lived ! That was amazing ! And the worse wing was the womens !
