If only data clerks would use the damn forms. I write reports and I even created a form for data entry but they won’t use it. So basically every month the formatting is all messed up and reports won’t run. And they yell at me. But it’s because they didn’t enter the data in the correct format-and again they won’t use the form which would force them to use the correct format. It’s very frustrating. I want to find AI that will take existing spreadsheets and actually re-enter all the data using the form. So far I haven’t found any people showing how to do that. But it would save my life. I just want the computer to literally type exactly what the final result was in each field but now into a form so that it will be formatted correctly.
Would suggest some vba to format prior to report running. That should be able to cover all format issues and at least make error entry on clerk side a uniformed formatting... Doesn't fix the error but it'll help
