RustRod update! The forgotten Street Stock is slowly evolving into a race ready Hobby Stock.

The old NASCAR Street Stock, once forgotten in a field, has been slowly evolving into a race ready Dirt Track Racing Hobby Stock. I've made some big purchases in the last 11 months getting the Camaro ready for Merced Speedway.
In April 2021, I purchased an old, retired NASCAR Dirt Street Stock race car I found sitting in a field in Gilroy, Ca. The car is rusty, has crash damage, and based on the outdated parts in the car, hasn't been driven or raced since the mid 1990's. I plan on restoring and converting the old race car into a Merced Speedway and Antioch Speedway legal Hobby Stock so I can try my hand at Dirt Track racing.

Haha, true. But I figure it all needs to get done though, so when It's in the budget to buy something I'm going to need, even if it's not something I'm currently working on, I'll pull the trigger. And I'm working by myself 95% of the time, I don't weld, and I'm learning as I go, so if I have to skip something that I cant finish yet (because I don't have the knowledge, or it needs to be welded, or I can't do it by myself), I'll move on to the next project until I can circle back and complete the work.
