Bruce and the rest of Starbuck are just musical geniuses! (I won’t even go into the incredible talent of the one-take marimba solo by Bo on Moonlight…). The chord progressions, the vocal harmonies… so pleasing to the ear! If you’re reading this- Bruce- thank you! It is 2023, and I’ve made my 19 year old listen to Starbuck- (Moonlight Feels Right, amongst so many others)- and he loves the music! He said it’s, “Happy Music!”. (I didn’t explain to him what Moonlight was actually about lol, he just loved the cool retro synthesizer vibe of it!) Thank you for making great songs that surpass generations, and make us feel happy when we need a lift! You are a gift to all of us!!

Gosh this is such talent. I have loved this band since watching them on the Midnight Special back in 1976. I was sorry to hear about Bo's passing.
I saw u guys in Alabama in 1977, opened with this one then, still stands as one of the best live performances I have ever seen. Still have "Moonlight" and "Rocket" on vinyl! RIP to your bandmates who have passed. Thanks for some good memories!

They were popular when I was a senior in college, back in 1974. I have been a fan since. I have all of their albums. If you ever get a chance, listen to "Rock and Roll Rocket". It has the best drum solo I have ever heard.
Bruce's voice is so unique, you know instantly it's him. Rock on, Bruce!

I just bought it 3/23 still in the wrapper from a record dealer in CO..love the cover art. Also bought the 45rpm in great shape from another dealer. I wasn't settled down in 1976...searching for freedom all over the country so missed their song at that time. Great stuff.
I love this band. In the 80's I had the eight track of Moonlight Feels Right, and I think I wore it out. I would get to working on my model trains, etc, and would let the whole album play for hours. There's not a bad song on the whole album.
I'm thinking to buy the CD of moonlight, and Rock & Roll Rocket. Great times back then.

@@StarbuckMusic Hello Bruce. I recall Moonlight feels Right was competing with Afternoon delight in the summer of 1976 for the top song. Moonlight was my favorite song for that year. It's still one of my favorite songs after all of these years. Thanks for the memories. You guys are epic !

Hello there, Bruce. I wonder why "Rock 'n' Roll Rocket" and "Searching For A Thrill" have never been released on cd (with the exception of one hard-to-get Japanese release of "Rocket". "Thrill" has never been put on cd. Never). I'm wondering why there is no motivation to reissue them. You put your heart and soul into writing these songs and so with that I'm struggling to understand why they haven't been treated better. I hope you'd consider reissuing Starbucks' studio lps again on vinyl and finally CD. Where are the master tapes? I hope they are in a safe spot. If they are available, please consider a thoughtful remaster and remix. Thanks.
