    I just ordered super dampening red Barna original sponge in 1,6 mm thickness and Spinlord Strahlkraft in 0X. I will put that combo on my DMS Defensor blade where I have a stock 1,0 mm Strahlkraft right now. This stock version is just too fast for me, so we will see... Can't wait to test it.

      You have so many choices to test. I will also put more review soon! Thank you for your comment!

      How does the dampening sponge play for chooping? Woulf you recommend?

      @@blueheart9873 I was very happy with the performance, but DMS double sided tape didn't hold up very well and the rubber started coming off the sponge after 2 months. I went back to DMS Elite Long and I am quite happy with my play again.

    What is your thoughts about chopping close, mid, and far away from table ox or with sponge .5, 1?

    • @thankstabletennis3038
      @thankstabletennis3038  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh~difficult question!!! ^^ In my idea, close table is good with thinner sponge...

      the sponge version would be better for chopping far from the table, although the OX version will still good for chopping 1-2 m from the table. If most of the time you play close to the table, pick the OX version; otherwise, choose the sponge version. 0.5mm would be a good compromise.

    How about we use a 2.2 mm sponge on the long pips?

    • @thankstabletennis3038
      @thankstabletennis3038  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it is also interesting idea. You may be able to do many thing like attack,creating spin ownself. But spin reversal and interruption will be lower, I think. Thank you very much for watching my video!

      @@thankstabletennis3038 You welcome. I changed my bh from Tenergy 19 to pips out since a month ago because I am 70 years old. I'm offensive player, but I've lost the energy to play offensively. But I'm confused about what pips out I should use. Are long, medium or short pimples? I want to be able to keep attacking and defending at the same time. I'm from Indonesia. Thank you for your advice.

    So are we to assume that the change occurred when guy went from shake hand to penhold? The second half of the video, not a single ball stayed on the table. Clearly less reversal on the second set up

    What were your thoughts on this? Did the thinner sponge get more spin reversal than the thicker one? or was it all the same. From the looks of it, the thinner sponge looked like it had more backspin.

    • @thankstabletennis3038
      @thankstabletennis3038  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think thinner sponge has more spin reversal and change. Thank you very much for your message!

      Less sponge should act more like ox. More sponge more control ? Gotta be

    Is ox no sponge much better??

    • @thankstabletennis3038
      @thankstabletennis3038  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think OX is good for disruption and spin reversal. But if you would like to do push (short chop) on the table, with sponge is easier. Thank you for watching!

    I just ordered the victas curl p1v.
    Im playing with a sauer troeger firestarter with andro powergrip on fh and friendship 837 1mm bh. Looking forward to generate more spin than now!!! But a nervous about the control? Im chopping away from the table so atleast a 1mm on bh right?

    • @thankstabletennis3038
      @thankstabletennis3038  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your question! In my idea, if you have a problem with short chop on the table or close table, I will recomend to use thicker sponge for long pimple unless you only use push with long pimple. Thicker sponge makes short chop easier in my idea. But hope it will not be too heavy for your blade. Thank you!
