Yes, I worked there at that time. It was called Raging Rivers. Great ride but too expensive to maintain the coating and foam rubber that lined most of the concrete. Rampage was another favorite ride of guests that had to be removed due to high maint costs (I was in a Charles in Charge tv episode as a ride operator for that ride).
@@mistymcclelland2014 Also I remember raging rivers being a bit dangerous! my buddy and I met some girls one time. We went on that ride and made a "chain" The girl in the back got whipped up onto a rock after we went down one of the slides! It was an awesome ride though. I remember as a young kid thinking it was the coolest thing ever! Different waterfalls and slides everywhere. A classic memory indeed
I haven’t been to raging waters in San Dimas in decades and when I was last there there was none of these waterslides at all it was just two waterslides that were blue and it went straight into the pool and then you had a separate pool for kids to play with and a beach in front of it with some sand and that was it it was not a whole lot to do back then not mention it was over an hour and a half drive from Los Angeles to go out there and it was expensive too
grace lin i went today (: it was honestly not what i expected it wasn’t that great and the lines were really bad that i only went on two, i did scrape my knee on the dark tunnel ride cause i fell forward and somehow the paint of the floor stuck on my knee
