      You must have had some good times at Raging Waters. It is really beautiful and there is something so retro about water parks.💦

    We haven’t been to a water park yet but looking which one is best. I had no idea there were long waits… it’s been ages since I’ve been to one

    • @SuperCaliListic
      @SuperCaliListic  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah the waits can be really long on hot weekend days. I think they all sell fast passes but we have never bought them. Soak City has the best food and better parking/easier to get to, but if you are only going to visit one water park, I would start at Raging Waters.

      I think water is fine as long as it is not in a glass container.

    I live in San Dimas. I’ve been here 20 years. Haven’t been. Maybe I can take a Uber to avoid $50 premium parking costs.
    I think they have rental lockers so you can put your cell/purse while in the water?

    • @SuperCaliListic
      @SuperCaliListic  ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe you could, that is an interesting idea. I would just make sure you have an Uber schedule in time before the park closes. And yes they do have lockers, but I have not yet used them.

    A follow-up to my comment: my birthday is July 23 which will be a Sunday this year. I’m sure it will be busy but from your experience, are Sundays less busy than Saturdays? I want to say that they are, but of course I have no way of knowing for sure.
    Also, does the shuttle tram go right up to the gate, or is there still more walking that needs to be done? And are water shoes allowed on the slides? Thanks!

    • @SuperCaliListic
      @SuperCaliListic  ปีที่แล้ว

      I do think Sundays would be slightly better than Saturdays, but that time of year there will probably be big crowds. If you can get there right at the opening you should be able to avoid the late morning rush. The traffic getting into the parking lots on a busy day is pretty bad, but hang in there, it will take about 20-30 mins. The shuttle takes you right to the gate. The water shoes are allowed on some slides but the big ones you will probably have to take them off. Most people just leave them at the bottom of the line and get them when they are done.

    so im planning to go this labor day weekend (1st time) how crowded do you think it will be? is it worth it?

    • @SuperCaliListic
      @SuperCaliListic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If it is hot, it could be crowded. It was peak crowd level the day we went and we still had fun, but the lines for the popular slides could be long. I would suggest getting there on the early side because one of the big waits of the day is getting into the parking lot. Have fun!

    Is it worth buying the fast passes still?

    • @SuperCaliListic
      @SuperCaliListic  ปีที่แล้ว

      I personally have never bought a fast pass, but I get why people do. I would imagine with the kids going back to school the crowds will die down a bit.

      It looks like they also have ticket discounts and “Select Buddy Days” - we haven’t used this either. But I am guessing gold and higher can get a discounted ticket on Buddy Days for a friend.

    • @SuperCaliListic
      @SuperCaliListic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question! I almost included that but ran out of time. I believe the kids shoes were 18 and the adult ones are 20. Plus Jesse has a gold pass so we got 20% off. I know they cost more than ones you can get at Walmart etc. But they are a really nice fit and look pretty comfortable. Usually those swim shoes are too narrow for my kids feet.

    I looked at the website no outside food. Unless you have dietary restrictions and only meals for that person.

    • @SuperCaliListic
      @SuperCaliListic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I think that is their policy but considering the location and how subjective “dietary restrictions” is and their security check being much more relaxed than other theme parks I don’t think it would be a problem. As long as it is not a big cooler or bringing in a lot of outside food like meal items, pizzas etc. if it is drinks and snacks, I think you should be okay.
