Même si je sais que certains fans et " connaisseurs " diront qu'ils ne sont pas d'accord, et d une certaine manière je les comprends, mais musicalement, il est un ton au-dessus !!!!!
En faites c'est en raison du côté précurseur de Thriller 😊 Bad est beaucoup plus Jackson alors que Thriller a une touche Toto et Temperton donc cette variété peut plus plaire 😊 Moi ayant grandi sous Dangerous cette album est mon préféré et Bad en deuxième 🎉
His voice in the 1987-88 mix is slightly more gritty. In this demo he has the more airy vocals from Off the Wall and Thriller. As for the song itself yeah it’s definitely 85% similar just with nuances in the bass lines, different chorus, and more of a funky soulful feel
y'all realize he can hit anything he wants at any age so it doesn't depend on era. Example: "Is It Scary" where he could sound "thriller era" or whatever yall think it is
There was fully finished version on Bad 25 that was thrown away from original album right before release in 1987, they probably didn't wanted to put 2 similar songs if they can put something more interesting

APOM, Al Capone, this specific version of Streetwalker all sound very Thriller, vocally, which were all recorded in 85/early-ish 86. His voice matured a little bit when they were recording the final cuts for Bad, and then even more so on the tour itself. I'd say it wasn't until a good bit into 1988 that his voice hit peak maturity.

I think Bill Bottrell said he started working with MJ in 84 or 85 which would account for this sounding like the Victory era.
