What a sweet lady, those are the ppl I will go out of my way to help on the streets, sometimes they don't even have to ask me for $$ I just give it to them. I hate the idea of a human being hungry in that situation especially a child.
I doubt that story too. Ive got a soft heart for a sob story, and i will listen, give money, pray with them. But the truth is that 98% of the time they built the house they live in.

Any one of us would be homeless if we stop paying rent for one month is the sad reality. We get up and work everyday so that doesnt happen. These people have money for drugs & whatever else. If i spent hundreds or less on drugs everyday i would easily be homeless too . Its their choice. They can go to a shelter & get a housing voucher they choose not to. Nothing we can do.

Totally sane and sober. I think she said that they had been homeless almost a year....well if anyone can make it, this woman and her hubby should be able to. My advice to them is move somewhere cheaper to live. I realize the panhandling can support them, but jobs will give them even more money and steady income. In today's job market, it is impossible not to find a job making at least $10-$15 dollars an hour which should be plenty considering there are two of them. Whatever excuses they have, they should be able to overcome because they are sane and sober. I only want the best for them, but its time they realize they are only their because of their desire to be.

She admits to a past drug history so that's probably it for both of them. If they can pass a drug test, they should be prioritized in some tiny house program. And I generally don't favor giving any programs or help to homeless people.
To the guy making the videos There’s a homeless camp on 67th and Roosevelt right by the freeway I believe it’s all people in there 20-30s there’s about 5 tents just posted right across Living spaces if you’re interested interviewing them go for it ive been curious myself about them.

Tell dude go work day labor he will make 80 or 90 a day. And go to a couples halfway house there are plenty. You got to move up step by step its hard but not that hard
Yeah TLC is a spot to go to... Once you are there for a few weeks and haven't found work they will hook you up with daily labor.. The only issue with a lot of these homeless people is most of their stuff has been stolen, and they have no ID, social, or birth certificate... It's not impossible but it makes it very hard on top of mental illness and dealing with street life

I got my old job back and I was there stacking my money,i was able to get my own spot within 4 months... it's not the best place, but you're guaranteed a bed,shower, roof,and food.. that's awesome you got back on your feet and still grinding.. I've been staying free,healthy, and still working a job.. I'm looking for something new so I can be on the level you're on.. $30/hr 💪🏼💯
It sucks they don’t have some properties owned by the city or state for them to camp on. They need a safe and stable place to camp. A place with rules and a system to enforce the rules/keep the vulnerable safe. I hope their families see this and seek them out and give them help.
These here seem like great people,that were in a bind. Alot of American Homeless are just unable to keep a job..for whatever reason.....mean co workers,,bosses,,,favoritism,,if this couple are not on drugs as she says they can go to a shelter and recieve 3 meals a day and a place to sleep and shower...I dont know if shes being honest about the drugs ??? why not go to A Homeless shelter,,work ,,save money,,get on housing,,,??im speaking from experience,,if your sober,,theres no reason to be sleepin on the street

I remember as a kid playing in cardboard boxes, but to live in one as an adult would drive me to do better

She mentioned he had surgery done on his rotator cuff so maybe that's why he's not working

It sucks they don’t have some properties owned by the city or state for them to camp on. They need a safe and stable place to camp. A place with rules and a system to enforce the rules/keep the vulnerable safe. I hope their families see this and seek them out and give them help.

These here seem like great people,that were in a bind. ( Which most of the world is in today, unless you live off the system)There is absolutely no reason that they shouldn't be able to get help and help getting a place! Our government needs to stand up for our own people!! Its absolutely ridiculous that our people are living like this! 💔💔💔

I cannot understand how it is that everyone who makes comments here is limited to commiserating and lamenting, but no one does anything to understand the causes of such misfortune and attack them.
IF she's being honest. It doesn't make a lot if sense 11 months. Saving $ yet if she makes more than she needs she won't work the next day?? Where's the savings?
Alot of American Homeless are just unable to keep a job..for whatever reason.....mean co workers,,bosses,,,favoritism,,if this couple are not on drugs as she says they can go to a shelter and recieve 3 meals a day and a place to sleep and shower...I dont know if shes being honest about the drugs ??? why not go to A Homeless shelter,,work ,,save money,,get on housing,,,??im speaking from experience,,if your sober,,theres no reason to be sleepin on the street
