That is what a repair guy told me was $500 . That is ridiculous so here I am. I think I can get replacement for $110. Piss me off because fridge is only 3 years old
I had the newer model Gallery, still uses this same assembly. POS is not rotating the tray after 6 months of ownership. I'm gong the warranty route for now
I have the same fridge and it's not filling the tray with water. There is a small sensor on the bottom of the ice cube tray. Does this give the signal to fill the tray?
I had an issue with my Ice maker in a Electrolux EW28BS71ISA made in 06/11. I was able to finally get the drawer out and a piece of plastic that is 3" long and at both ends is 3/4" wide and 1/2" long and int he middle portion is 1-1/4" wide 1-3/4 " In the immediate middle it has 2 tabs that drop out about 1/8" with 2 round pieces that extend out 1/8" that are connected to something. In the middle is a foam piece that has a slot on each side that is 3/4" long . There is also a wire in the Ice maker portion that is loose and is about 8" - 10" long with a sensor on it I have no Idea where it goes and have not seen it in any of the videos on You Tube. Doe you know where it is supposed to go?
