Ever wondered where that theme from a Smash Bros character's victory screen came from? Well wonder no more, as I reveal all of that in one gigantic video. Sora was released as the final Smash Ultimate character which made it a very good time for me to release an updated version of my most viewed video on my previous channel. So here it is! I remember listening to Xenoblade 2's battle theme on TH-cam a few years ago and found a comment that time marked a specific point in the song and said "This will be Rex's victory fanfare in Smash Ultimate."
They were half-right.

I love the fact they put the announcer from Tekken 7 as Kazuya victory "theme" I think it´s really cool
like joker´s victory animation being him just running or getting in the Morgana van as he does in P5 after a battle
Its awkward if hes on a team though. Its just silence. At least he doesnt just steal all the credit from his teammates like Joker does if he wins via Final Smash
fun fact: in 3ds version of smash 4, for cloud's victory theme they use the original victory theme of ff7

Yoshi's victory fanfare is conformed with the 30 fruits/level complete theme too, Min Min's victory fanfare is conformed with riboon ring theme too and Bayonetta's victory theme is conformed with Bayonetta verse clear theme too.

Fun fact:
3:08 the last jingle at the end of Yoshi's victory theme is also a reference to when he eats all the fruit in Yoshi's Story, but it's been removed in Ultimate
Idk why ultimate made most of the themes short, they were much better with the extra notes

Ness/Lucas' Fanfare in Ultimate comes from Mother 1's Eight Melodies- just like Ness' Victory in 64 and Melee.

I originally thought that as well, however according to the Smash Wiki, it is a mix of both of the Smash original victory themes. So I decided to go with the Wikis answer on this one. Though I'm inclined to believe you are right.

Ness’s fanfare in 64 and Melee is the last of the 8 Melodies from MOTHER 2 / EarthBound on SNES, not MOTHER / Earthbound Beginnings on the Japanese Nintendo Family Computer. The 8 Melodies from MOTHER were used in Ultimate with no mixups from MOTHER 2 or MOTHER 3. The Wiki is wrong in this case. Coming from a seasoned EarthBound nut.

I like the style of this video, but I have to point out that you missed two victory themes. When Joker wins on the Mementos stage when the stage is in its Persona 3 or Persona 4 forms, Joker's victory theme also changes to a Persona 3 or Persona 4 victory theme. I shall subscribe and look forward to the updated video!
Kazuya‘s first victory pose you saw was actually based off the first Tekken! And his victory announcer was first introduced in Tekken 5. But still love the effort you put on this video!

Metroid 1 and Super Metroid use the same melody. It's a different arrangement, but the melody is the same.
Yup, that's the reason why I put the disclaimer underneath. The original melody is not the same so I used the Super Metroid theme instead, as that melody is the one that we know today.

You were completely wrong on the Ultimate Earthbound fanfare - it's not a combination of the previous two in melody, but maybe in concept. It's from the Eight Melodies theme in Mother 1, distinct from Mother 2/Earthbound. But good job playing the correct part of the Fire Emblem theme - most of these "fanfare origins" videos play the wrong part.

What's the difference between Sonic's victory theme from Brawl/4 and Ultimate? They sound the exact same
If you listen to the end of both versions it is very slightly sped up in the Ult version, which was done by quite a few victory themes in Ultimate to speed up victory screens across the board

Oops, yup I made a mistake here. The reason why is because I took the release date of the Arcade version of Punch Out!! Which came out in 1984. So while the series debuted that year, the fanfare I chose here was from the 1987 NES Punch Out!!
