I tried Prada Black at a store recently, and I really liked it on the test strip. I can't recall the scent profile but it smelled unique and luxurious. I own Carbon and really like that one as well. Prada makes some pretty amazing fragrances.
Isn't it though? It's one of those frequently mentioned colognes, designer, mainstream, famous. Not sure why some people try and make it seem underground, it's not Sauvage but it's not Black Afgano either.
This was not love at first sniff for me too, but now I love it. It doesn't ever bug me like prada carbon sometimes does. I agree with all of what you said.
I wear this once every week and a half - 2 weeks currently in the winter season. I have a super warm fur lined denim jacket I wear almost every day, and every time I wear it, it smells like this fragrance. That’s despite the fact that I spray one of my 30 fragrances on it 2 times a day (on my way to work and on my way home) yet this smell is just always on the jacket. I love it, get a lot of compliments!
I have a big collection with nearly all of the all time greats a I have to say this scent it one of my favourite smells of all, it’s absolutely amazing. I don’t find the projection amazing but as a date, intimate smell, it’s best in class for me.
Had it, kinda enjoyed it, not for me and will probably not pick up again. I do appreciate it's uniqueness and appeal. On my skin I get a liquorish type vibe and it doesn't sit well.
I love this fragrance. Unfortunately, it doesn't last long on my skin- about 3 hours. But I still manage to get use out of it by wearing it around the house. Because it's so light on my skin, it doesn't overpower my fiancée when we're cuddling on the couch. Great fragrance, but my skin chemistry unfortunately keeps it from being at the top of my collection.
I just bought this fragrance today! And upto this moment, all I have been doing is sniffing it every few minutes and smiling!! Its opening is not its best moment imo, but give it some time and you will soon realize that it’s quite seductive in a MYSTERIOUS way.. and I can’t emphasize enough!!

Not the type of scent that will attract females in social settings. Its more attractive to them if its worn by a boyfriend or husband because of its calm warm cosy and reassuring nature. Of course the baby powder component (and the original and Sport versions also have that smell) may appeal to females who have babies on their mind (or the thought of having one lol). For me its more of an evening upscale type scent to be worn primarily in the presence of a significant other as I don't like an overly powdery accord at nights on the town in social settings as there are too many sexy and more masculine scents out there for that purpose. I agree that its great for bed on a cool evening...alone or with the significant other (if she likes it).
I remember spraying this on and thinking it smelt like pencil sharpener scrapings. After a couple hours I was like "actually it smells quite nice" and ended up buying it as my first fragrance for 12 years lol
God damn this frag smells awesome. If this is what warm powdery amber smells like then I absolutely love it. The opening and dry down are the same as you say, I love that it's linear, whenever I wear it I can't stop smelling my arm. I would put this frag in my top 5 of all time

This like everyone says above, it is classy, sexy, dark, soft, alluring, comforting, just smelling it wafting off you as you move around you can't help but feel in a good mood. I wish more people wore stuff honestly. There's a physiological link between bad smells and good ones. Bad odors actually can drive a stress response and make people more unpleasing to deal with. Luna Rossa Black is like spraying Soma into the air and it's pretty universally liked.
Its amazing i get so many compliments while wearing it, I really enjoy how simple but addicting it is. Got this when I was 19 I’m 21 now and on my second bottle it’s worth it and you won’t regret buying it.
People always said that armani aqcua di gio profumo is a very old smelling fragrence but i just got it (i'm 15) pretty tall and i have a deep voice and it smells so good. It doesn't smell like it's unfit for me, it's just the right sweetness and darkness. Absolute 10/10

It doesnt transform as drastically like 1 million for example, but almost like the pepper fades while something like vanilla or flowers comes out. it doesnt announce to the room "LOOK AT ME, STARVING FOR ATTENTION" but instead commands a gentlemans authority. it's dominant without being aggresive. perfectly masculine in the image of a classy suit. would not for pouty boys, this bouquet matches classy taste with rigid boundary.

I really wanted to like this fragrance, I really did. Bought it as a blind buy because I saw read nothing but positive things and it sounded like it would be a unique addition to my new collection. Although, I don’t really like the scent very much. I feel like it’s way too feminine and too powdery. I understood that there was a level of powdery-ness before buying it but my goodness that was too much. The bottle looks awesome though, I’ll hang onto it for that reason.
I wasn’t lucky enough to get the authentic bottle of this flanker. I ordered twice from ebay and FragranceNet. Both were bad bottles. Im not sure if it’s expired or just fake ones. I got another order from FragranceNet fingers crossed its the real one. If i still get the fake one I would probably get one in macys. This is one of the best colognes i tried. My travel size smells awesome!!!

Are there differences between the PUIG version and the one after the agreement with L'Oreal? I read somewhere that it had a negative impact. They say it used to be a spectacular perfume and now it smells like burnt pencil. Unfortunately I don't know the PUIG version and I can't comment.
How I wish I had seen this video before buying this fragrance. It's the first fragrance that have made me shower again after a couple of hours to try and remove every trace of it. As said in this video, if you like fragrances like Bleu de Chanel you might have a hard time with this one. I know I did. The powder and vanilla smell I find extremely nauseating, and this one went directly to the trash. I cannot say if this fragrance objectively is good, but I would advice not to blind-buy this - especially if you come from the notes mentioned early in this video.
Chaos we need a Givenchy Play Intense and the regular edt back!!! What ruined that line was it's spokesman and the presentation. If they had gotten someone like Vin Diesel as the face, and changed the name, and presentation...it would still be around. And, it would have 2-3 more blankets in the line.

I was not impressed with this ones. I think you have better options. The scent absolute, wanted by night, One Million perfume, SB Extreme. This one has this dark choc smell, but it’s to simple and not interesting enough.

This guy is wrong about the development of this fragrance though. The top isn't the same as the drydown. The top is fine, but the drydown is freaking heavenly.

What you get in the opening is NOT what you get in the drydown. This fragrance has one of the best, most heavenly drydowns out there.

this is extremely addictive fragrance in a mysterious way and you just describe it as simple powdery warm !
It absolutely changes. It's ok off the top, but the drydown is heavenly. Also it has similarities to MIP.

Love Prada Black and it is addictive. Sometimes I mix it with Bac 540 when I go out and works wonders.
