Slippy croaked, Interceptor system dead ahead in Sector X either Fox takes the left path that leads to the 4 gates, or the right path that leads to the boss battle at the end of this level, only Slippy do survive in Fortuna or Katina as of previous level.
I wondered that at first as I've not seen this game speedrunned before but looking at it FAILING to stop the missiles in Sector Z is actually quicker than accomplishing it.
+OXXOI77777 Each time you press the A button, you shoot multiple times. You don't need to spam that fast to achieve max fire rate, just need the right tempo. You get it right with some training.
I'm gonna beat this time, getting into speedrunning and as a kid I'd beat this game in a half an hour and currently I'm 5 seconds faster than you through Corneria! Nice run overall tho!
I remember finishing this game more than 10 times in 30 mins or less, i managed to get through the first and second levels without losing party members, and also the Falco secret pathway in the first level

Those are warps, it's a way to go for different routes midgame
