What's the expense on this hole set up taking into mind 1 has a laptop already . Is there available spares for this machine what tonners cartridges will it use or need how often
Did you ever make the foil video?
So it prints black without a black cartridge. It must combine the 3 color cartridge’s together to print black ? I have a HP 477 and a Ghost White toner cartridge. Yes registration is a bit of an issue with something that’s really small. Close but not perfect.
CMY makes the black. It does have a black cartridge if you so choose. Mis-Registration is not acceptable anymore

I just got my icolor 560 for making model railroad decals as well as so much more.
I currently get my paper from a company called Sunnyscopa out of Korea. I color has their clear paper, but there are currently getting ready to release a paper with a blue backing material.
Awesome work, I just got mine up and running and struggling to get the white under-print to look strong. My colors are washed out from the diecast

I heard there's issues with the white not being opaque enough. Did you figure it out?

I was looking into that brand but the one I looked at had 5 toners. I’ll have to check my notes.
Well, it does have CMYK, but it also has a white toner cartridge to. If you were interested in getting one of these machines, please let me know, and I’ll hook you up with the right people, I get a feather in my cap for everybody I mention. It’s an incredible machine Xavier and it is a game changer.

How do you go about making the templates to the vehicles? They look perfect! I would love some tips on where to get the templates or how to make them, thanks in advance for any help! Great video by the way!

I just picked up one of these because of your video. I've got a number of questions! Do you have good settings for getting quality prints? The few test runs I've done have come out either grainy or splotchy with poor opacity.

What solfware are you using in this video
Recently attended a GPX show in Long Beach looking for a printer for waterslide decals. Saw this video and thinking of getting one. My friend has a 550 and has issues with paper jamming. Don't know if this is a common thing but know I wouldn't want to spend money on a printer if it jams constantly. He is printing waterslide decals but was told that the printer is not made for printing waterslide decals. Maybe the 560 is an upgrade from 550. Any information is appreciated. Thanks

How did you get the gasser outlines/measurements of the vehicle?

been looking into getting a white toner printer but just cant justify the couple grand in costs to get started. at that point may as well invest in a tampo stamping machine.
tampos > waterslides.
Tampos are more of a factory thing. This machine not only does the decals like I said, but it also does T-shirts and other items that you can print on. Like I said, this is a business in a box, and while it is an investment, it will change your life overnight.
@@DiecastGraveyard you are right , i just can't justify spending so much for a hobby. don't sell enough to consider it a actual business. have enough inventory just get side tracked trying to make sells.

I’m still working on that. Right now I currently only offer decal printing to my Patreon subscribers.
Your video is convincing me to invest in one of these! What blue transfer paper are you using? I'm not sure what kind to get since there's inkjet and laserjet waterslide decal paper available.
Manufacturer recommends Uninet paper. Up to this point t I’ve been using g Sunnyscopa

Hi Great video, so much so, I put my money where your mouth is so to say 😉. Had to get a 540 as the 560 is not available in the UK. Having a few issues, but then again who doesn't with new tech. What paper settings do you use - thickness, paper choice etc etc. and do you seal the decal before applying.

I use Aquaclear as a paper setting and you do not have to seal the paper before using.
@@DiecastGraveyardThanks, I will that a go. I tend to have white lettering with a black drop shadow. Currently some of the black is coming off leaving magenta toner exposed.
@paullancaster297 by changing the settings to aqua clear, this should slow down your printer to give it better marrying to the waterslide decal sheet that you’re sending through
Still giving issues, raised a ticket with my supplier who have escallated the issue to Uninet, fingers crossed the issue is resolved soon. Thanks for your help.

you took out the black cartridge and replaced with white, how old is the black still appear on there? New to this game.
Cartridges are new and don’t leave any residual when you remove them
How is it that it can still print out black if you took out the black toner and replaced it with white?
