    This makes me happy lol. My first car was a cav. Put a body kit, bc coils, wheels, headers, exhaust, system. Pulled over 17 times in one month. Loved that car, wish I had the money back then for a ls swap 😢

    Hunter, Mahle is pronounced like Molly from my experience. I don't mean to be a dork, I was just letting you know. This Cavalier is going to be SO sick when it's done. I finally got around to installing the turbo kit onto my JDM J32A six speed manual swapped CG1 Accord and even on 5 psi it pulls SO hard. I put custom made ARP head studs in, SpeedDaddy manifolds, collector pipe, up pipe, and downpipe (all of which had to be cut and modified), it's running on an AEM Series II 30-6051 standalone, AEM 340 LPH fuel pump, an eBay GT35, eBay 44mm wastegate, a Tial Q50 BOV, and I just recently installed my P2R Holley intake manifold kit with a Skunk2 90mm throttle body. It's been ALOT of work, but it pulls SO hard even on low boost. I also bought a GFB electronic boost controller, and even though the engine is forged from the factory, I have Injector Nation 1000cc injectors and the most boost I plan on running is 10-12 psi. It is my daily after all...but 10 psi should easily make 500 wheel horsepower. Even at 5 psi it spins both front wheels all the way through 2nd.

    The sloppy stg3 cam as they call it sounds great,I've run it in a few different set ups . Great on motor,spray and boost . My favorite cam and it's affordable.

    Hi hunter so I’m building a 6.0 lq4 with 799 heads and I’m gunna be putting a sloppy stage 3 cam in. I’ve had people telling me that cam will not fit because of piston to valve clearance? Is this true or should I be ok? Because I’ve also had a lot of people tell me that it will be fine and they’ve ran it in many set ups they’ve built.

    • @TKSpeedShop
      @TKSpeedShop ปีที่แล้ว +1

      From my experience, I’m running that combo. I don’t have much run time on my LQ4 but I haven’t had any issues with the clearance running the SS3.

    Cam 1st. Then crank 🫡 with the crank gone you can easily reach in to guide the cam easier. No reason not to 🤷‍♂️
