This series won't be updated as often as the 'Classical Musicians React to Kpop' series, but will hopefully cover some great live performances of KPOP groups/vocalists.
I will be focusing on Immortal songs 2, Fantastic Duo, and Duet Song Festival performances by Kpop idols that I personally am curious to see how my vocalist friends will react to & analyze vocal technique of.

I think this is a great idea! Having the classical vocalists react to, "judge" and choose which of the contestants they thought would be moving on. We get to hear their educated opinions on the contestants and their vocal talents. I'm looking forward to more of these Fantastic Duos, and other singing competitions! (I'm so glad S. Korea has so many shows like this lol)

They should do different genres though, like that. It will be interesting, or throwbacks, musicals, live, r&b, indie artists, rap, acoustic, rock, ost, etc. They should try to show some culture into it, idk just something to learn about more, more variety. There's just more than just Pop music You know?

Hi Umu and all the other reactors, I am so thankful that you decided to do fantastic duo reactions. This is like the best show out there that links artists(not only kpop idols) like really respected singers in the country to the public. How it works is that a singer sings and on an app other people can join celebrities do join but are not usually picked for the broadcasting, after posting the videos some are selected who will out of them have three picked out for the first round which as they sing at the stage the artist picks one to sing with.*season 1 format.
Since they are live performances it is a show I've been lookin forward to all your reactions and feedback.
I hope you let the other reactors react to some of season 2 performances they are great as well.

Edit: Before people complain that he doesn't have the best vocal technique out there, I just want them to react on his vocal color. He has this unique charming voice that even people with good vocal techniques are fan of. Even Ailee is a big fan of him. (P.S- A really big fan). In my opinion even if one have the best vocal technique out there,there should be passion in the way you execute and deliver it. And Taeyang has that thing. His voice touches heart and soul, a big reason why I love BIGBANG so much. Not because oppa,but their music is my soulmate. ❤ I really hope you put more BIGBANG on your lists umu. I love your channel.

Umu has replied to people who've requested Sohyang on Twitter and Patreon and said that they won't be reacting to her since the channel's focus is kpop and she's not sure she wants to change that.
Only one person asked about it on Patreon. Also, Umu acknowledged that she's highly requested, but still said that she wants to focus on kpop.

These girls are all so talented! Looking forward to more vocal reactions especially Ailee's. She's really a queen, my favorite vocals in Kpop.
I think a few people want Kim SoHyang reactions (and i agree), she isn't technically a K-Pop idol/artist and very little is actually known about her past and training but its pretty clear she has been classically trained as she is out and out considered the best vocalist in Korea, possibly ever. She does appear on Masked Singer (holds the record for most consecutive wins), I Am a Singer and Immortal Songs. Arirang Alone from Immortal Songs is one of her best performances, she'll give your goosebumps goosebumps!

I love fantastic duo it has so many amazing performances (lee moon se, Noh sayeon, sistar, lee sun he, etc) so I would be so nice to see more reactions on this. Also a reaction to onew singing nessun dorma , since it is a classical piece I'm very curious as to how he did and if he pulled it off well
Those are some solid recommendations! Also checked out Onew with Nessun Dorma. He's pretty damn solid, though because of his training towards a pop style, he sings it mainly in straight tone instead of letting his vibrato go. If he had just that little tweak and relaxed a little more, it would give his voice that much more spin and fullness. It feels like opera for the modern ear, and he did damn well!

Please react to "Companion" sung by Seunghee and Sandeul on Girl Spirit Ep. 9, and "The Sound of My Voice+As I live More" by Kei from the same episode. Seunghee is one of the main vocalists in Oh My Girl, Sandeul is the main vocalist of B1A4, and Kei is the main vocalist of Lovelyz. Seunghee dedicated her song to her sister, Kei dedicated hers to her mother (fun/emotional fact; her older sister dances beside her on stage as she sings). I won't spoil anything, but it's safe to say that both performances made me cry.

I love this video!! However, I would like to point out that the intro for Fantastic duo is totally not what the show is about!!!! Fantastic Duo is a program about legendary singers collaborating with 1 of their fans to compete against each other on the second round. This video is about the first round which the singer deciding on who to have a duo with out of 3 ordinary people.

You should also do Taeyang's duo w Rhythm Gangster, although their voices are clearly not the most 'powerful' the way they performed the song so beautifully together, in my opinion, completely outshines most of the performances I've seen on fan duo
