Sean ripping into the school play absolutely *broke* me. Watching him always brings me such joy. While I am of course sad that he's gone, that feeling is eclipsed by how glad I am that he was here.
I mean 2008 was a time when James Corden was a British hero, creating one of the big Sitcoms of the era. Then he went to America and it all fell apart for him, and he became the bastard we know today.

I think it was for the 10th anniversary of doing the quiz, I'd had the idea at the time that they should've invited all the kids back from the first school show ever and had them act out a new play

They all knew something brilliant was coming from him, and they were all willing to wait for it. He was a comedian's comedian. He made it seem easy, even when it wasn't. He kept making us laugh, even when his body was frail and failing. And I still steal his jokes while I'm at work. I still tell people that I hear voices... But it's fine, because I ignore them and keep on killing.

Watched this is bed on headphones when I couldn't sleep last night. I managed to silently laugh, apart from a couple of shorts when Sean went on his rant about the school play. I don't know why it got me so much but my body was shaking so much from laughing I woke my husband up. He was not pleased. I miss Sean Lock, I'm just so lucky I got to see him live.
