If you are upgrading your skills and can monetize it then sell the idea to your dad. If you can't sell your desires and dreams to your parents, you will not have much luck in the world.

Main Reason why indian professionals are leaving India given the opportunity is because of Dirt Low pay. Private Employers in India pay their employees peanut size salary. Good pay exists only in MNCs and that too if you compare it with US or Canadian counterparts it is a fraction of their pay for the same job profile, even adjusted for purchasing power wise.
So, unless indian companies start paying their employees good salaries comparable to the standards of the west... Don't expect employees to work with same productivity and don't expect indian youth to stay in India and work.
The youth that are willing to stay in India inspite of this are doing so only so that they stay close to their parents and because they don't want to stay far away from their old parents.

Artificial Intelligence will take over most of White Collar, Blue Collar and Desk Jobs. Future is bleak as human population is exploding for wrong reasons like uncontrolled virus. Life will be brutally punishing in the future. Human extinction is guaranteed and yet humans multiply like insects like they can survive an extinction event. There's no multi-lifetime / species level goal in humanity. They are born, eat, grow, reproduce, die... same repeats infinite times. 8.2 Billion humans, 1.42 Billion Indians... So many brains couldn't find the answers to purpose of life is enough reason not to create more threads of DNA and support the wrong paths as we know Karma always bites back.

But in other sectors, only 20 to 30% hike salary
