@@JollyRogerAviation I’d go with the Zulu 3. I don’t think there’s any reason not to get the Sierra but the Zulu is just flat out tremendous value. You’re basically getting the Bose for 200-400 cheaper. She’ll be really happy with it and that’s the main point for sure.
Eric, Pat and I use Lightspeed Zulu 2’s. I bought both at (different) aerobatic contests that Lightspeed donated them to. Best headsets I’ve tried in the Legacy, though I haven’t tried the Lightspeed 3 yet. I use Clarity Aloft in the Extra for aerobatics, they are very lightweight and stay in place, but for cross country the Lightspeed are the best. Doug Sowder Legacy N107TG
its fun seeing the old hang out . used to live at the north end of the runway up in Arlington .. used to visit the airport now and again at the office entrance area .. Bayliner used to be over there that way . My friends in Arlington run a boat canvas top shop making the tops for the boats

Get her some over ear hearing protection and rell her she'd better work on her lip reading skills. Another option is give her some regular headphones then Bluetooth them to your phone that is playing a recording you made speaking random pilot shit the whole time, problem solved. If she is anything like my wife sitting in the passenger seat then she's not listening to you anyways, only appears that she is. 😅
