Lol Gio yesterday match against Italy u said Your team not at the level of Italy at the moment. What about today? You lose 3-0 against Serbia in front of 10k++ hom3 crowd without even Boskovic and Maja in the team🫣.
I’m one of the new fans of Serbia after this VNL. They played really great in the Final round. What Serbia did in this VNL tournament without Boskovic and Maja was nothing short of incredible. Even just knocking out the USA was an amazing feat, let alone being competitive in the semi. Now even getting bronze against the host nation. For sure they will be one of the strong team in WCH when Boskovic and Maja return. Bravo to Santarelli. He need to be given credit w what he done in short amount of times.

I just can't believe this result!! Woooaahhh!! Big Congratulations Serbia 🥳 You guys deserves it!! And I'm sorry to say this but I think Santarelli just did what Terzic can't do to this team. From the beginning of this tournament we can see that Santarelli trust Bjelica and Stevanovic so so much!! He boosts the whole team confidence to the highest!! I can't wait to see Boskovic and Maja to join the starter. Boskovic, Maja, Aleksic, Stevanovic, Lozo and Lazovic will be super strong. Serbia is the Star 🌟 in this Tournament even though they finish in 3rd place. Sending encouragement to Turkey as well.

What can't Terzic do with this team - medal at VNL? I guess winning bronze in the Olympics and silver at the Euros just last year is underachieving. Oh, and the coming World Championship, who's the defending champion again? Yup.

If Santarelli can get a Medal from VNL with Serbia B Team so what will happen if Serbia A Team join the party? This Serbia B Team literally defeat Turkey twice in a row and they beat USA the current Strongest Team and all of that achievements was because of Santarelli.
Congrats Serbia and Santarelli! It was a team effort, they proved they can do it even without Boskovic. Hope Lozo will have new job offers after this tournament, she deserved it. Glad Stevanovic in back on the national team, she has the spirit and the energy. Can't wait to see Aleksic play in Italy (Megabox), if she does good the first year I bet a major team will pick her in the next one. I didn't expect this debacle for Turkey, especially in front of their crowd. I've never seen the team and Guidetti so lost. They were not so organized in their contrattrack (or scramble situations) and they suffered a lot in reception. Next time he should put the second libero in the normal jersey so he can have better chance. Zehra and Erdem carried the team as always and I think they deserved better. Turkey needs an OH like Gabi, Bosetti or Robinson.
IDK how Lozo after leaving Russia and ended up in Romania, signed with CSM Lugoj, fifth place team last season. Btw..her friend at this VNL Bojana Drca will going to St. Petersburg, Russia.

Our first VNL medal.Great achievement.Without two most important players (Maja and Boskovic) we had a successful tournament, beating USA, Japan, Turkiye (2 times), Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Bulgaria, Canada and South Korea.

Lozo was a revelation! I didn't even hear her name not until they fought against USA. I thought the Serbian team was gonna play badly thoughout the season because they had a bad start but I think that new coach was a huge factor and he brought the best in Serbian players. Congrats Serbia! As for Turkey, they need a great open hitter. They have to step up come WC2022.
I know her since last year when she's plays for Saratov in Russian league, unfortunately she will move to lower league in Romania, but her friend at this VNL a setter Bojana Drca will going to Russia for Leningradka St. Petersburg replacing Laura Dijkema who already left Russia in March.

Boscovic is miles better than your star player Ebrar or whoever she is. Even without Boscovic they still lose 2 times in a row to Serbia. You think highly of Turkey when that team is behind by a lot of best team like usa, serbia, russia, brazil and italy and even the weakest team like Canada can defeat them.
@Timur Serdengeçti Serbia is always at finals in important events like VNL, world cup and Olympics. They manage to get gold, silver and bronze at events like that. And don't be stupid, know the difference between club and national team because club league is a different situation.

Crowd didn't affect European teams because they've faced it a lot but Thailand didn't have much experience on this.

What a coach Santarelli is! He managed to give serbian team much needed versatility and certain stability to not depend only on Boskovic-Maja duo. To get to the World Championships finals surely will require upgraded floor defence and some other elements,but all in all third place is pretty realistic.
On the other hand,im tremendously sorry for the turkish team not playing at their highest lately. Maybe coach needs to be changed.
I disagree if Turkey is in the final four teams this must be tributed to Guidetti mainly.
@@lp9290 No, Türkiye is on rise since 2003 and I guess time is up for Guidetti and our team.
@@lp9290 Turkey reached final 4 because they hosted the tournament and played Thailand (the weakest team that made top 8) in the QF - US, Japan and China all played better than Turkey for most of the tournament, so if Turkey didn't get top seed for organizational reasons after the preliminary round, I am 110% sure they would've crashed out in the Quarterfinals! (probably against Brazil, as that's who the team on 7th place should've faced...) That said, Turkey is one of the best 3 or 4 European sides these days (Italy, Serbia and potentially Russia too are stronger), so they're still a team with great potential!

The reason behind this change: 1- Erdoğan s policy of distracting people from the real problems. Didnt work really. 2- The bird name turkey, comes from Turkey the country. I guess it is also has to do with internet search engines.

At some point in this match when Santarelli calls for a timeout, she said that lozo should not receive the ball but rather on the attack. Why? Because Turkey knows that Bjelica will carry the team and Santarelli knows it. He's a genius coach. Points from Serbia were well distributed from Busa, Lozo, Blockers and Opposite. Congratssssss.

That VNL's rule about host nation getting auto 1st place if they qualify benefitted Turkiye a lot. I think they would have lost against any other team in the QFs judging from how bad they played against Italy and Serbia.

and USA got the bad end of this rule, instead of them going againsts Thailand, though amazing, they faced a tougher Serbian team.
I dont know do you realise that Türkiye is in last 4 in last 4 tournaments and got one silver and bronze medal. Right after winning against Japan and almost winning against US we may have pass Serbia too. You never know.

At first I really believed that Turkey would win this game, but then I realized that I hadn’t considered one thing: Serbia this year has our very good (italian😁😉) coach Santarelli! What a performance by Team Serbia this VNL 2022!!! I admit I wasn't expecting them to get this far, as with the previous VNL editions where they typically hid Boskovic, Rasic, & Ogjenovic. Their overwhelming defeats as well vs. USA & Italy in the Olympics & EuroVolley respectively, which basically amounted to silencing Boskovic, didn't give me much hope for this team. But I think the quality of Santarelli's coaching (in comparison to Terzic) really shows. So hyped for the WCH 2022!
And Popovich best player blokc, maybe Brankica come back.
They rely on Boskovic a lot especially during world championship
I'm not a fan of Terzic, but you can't compare him with Santarelli on the VNL simply because he wasn't coming to it last several years. Serbia's OSS was sending a mixture of the 2nd team and youngsters, led by 2nd or 3rd coach. That's the main reason why Serbia was ranked 4th at the time it was reigning World and Europian champion, and Olympic silver medalist.

Serbia deserved it. They beat the USA and could have beaten Brazil as well. Turkey on the other hand has a karakurt who once again disappears at the important games, guidetti who makes weird changes, too many errors etc… Its always the same story against teams like Italy, serbia, USA, Brazil etc… They beat countries like Germany and the Netherlands easily but when it comes to serbia and italy its always just not enough. The top 3 teams in Europe are 1 - Italy, 2 - Serbia and 3 - Turkey

*Congratulations Serbia.* They played a great game. I am quite disappointed in Turkey, cuz they did not perform their best, like they normally do. Jovana Stevanović blocking is what made a *HUGE* difference in Serbia plays throughout the competition. I don't know why she left the team, cuz she's a world class blocker. Good to see her back on national team. This was a great match.
She didn't leave willingly, Terzic and her had an argument.
Well, the rumours are that she and Terzic didn't have the best relationship. At the same time, she had to battle against Veljkovic for the spot in the team, and Veljokovic was a much more deadly attacker.
Regarding the team overall, the future is very exciting for Serbia, because Santarelli has revamped the team completely. If Boskovic manages to adapt well to this team, their chances at the World Championship will increase.

There will be so many people who is gonna put all the blame on Hande Baladin. But we all are sure that hande is the reason that our team managed to compete in the finals. She is so passionate like someone can see the fire in her eyes. I love her so much that i cant even describe with verbs. She is the reason why im into volleyball. We love and appreciate each of them as well; but Hande does not deliver the performance, that is expected from an Outside hitter in the " national team". This is SAD but the Truth, besides that there has been a lot of investment in her; but the return on investment has been declining for a quiet long time. This opportunity/ chance needs to be given to more talented younger players such as Derya.

I remember Guidetti saying that Serbia is 99% Boskovic after semi-finals of EuroVolley 2021. Well how about getting beaten twice within a week by Serbia without Boskovic, Ognjenovic, first libero Popovic, Rasic and Veljkovic who both retired after that EuroVolley and finally Mihajlovic who is not even close to her best form...
Guedetti is right, Serbia WAS 99% Boskovic, this today (and through this VNL) was something new.
That is when they were under Terzic tho. Santarelli have brought a new and effective system on this Serbian squad which is the primary factor for their good performance.
@@imsocleansofresh741 If Boskovic was playing now, even under Santerelli, she would still be getting most of the ball. If you have a top 3 hitter like Boskovic or Egonu it would be crazy not to. Even if they don't score as much, the draw the block to their side, so scoring is easier for their teammates.

Last years VNL in Serbia, the serbian fans whistled Turkish players during the whole match.Its not a big deal.We never even mentioned about that.
I used to really like Thai people, but I'm seriously starting to think you guys have mentaI probIems now. This much grudge and anger is not normal for a match 3 days ago. Moreover, even though Karakurt shared a statement addressed to the Thai fans. I'm really starting to feel strange from Thai people.
Rude? they only cheer for their team, in all the sports, fans seek to distract the opponent, that's part of the game if you don't get used to it you can't play any sport.

LESSON LEARNED : Do not spend to much on social media, a lot of players of the Turkish team is really active on Instagram even though they'll still play for the bronze,while the Serbian team after losing against Brazil according to the interview of Busa ,she said right after they lost the match they immediately prepared the game and study their opponents and keep their motivation because they'll play Infront of the large and loud crowd😆👏🏻

First of all congrats to Serbia for their amazing performance. I guessed that score and honestly wished that we dont get bronze, so some radical measures are taken afterwards. I dont know though why there are so many toxic comments on Türkiye and even on Turks. I was there in two games live and yes, even in our league, even a player like our great captain Eda will be booed or hear screams in an important match while serving. But at the end of the game, she and her team will be applauded for minutes (something you never see also) and people booed during game will come and ask to take photos with oppent team stars. Same happened for Thailand and Serbia. Nothing is personal and audience is just so passionate (volleyball is a massive thing here and almost ALL good players of any nationality you watch in VNL plays in Turkish Sultans League, which is the greatest one along with Italian/Russian). The aim is just to distract. If the aim was to attack your "very very very" sensitive national feelings they would boo your national anthems and yes that would be disrespectful. Fill your halls first people, they were quite empty in other stages of tournament, you barely have a crowd watching volleyball to fill a hall. Then we can talk about if this should be like Wimbledon or not.

We have a long way to go, girls. We are weak in defense, we quickly become demoralized, we cannot fully concentrate on the match. Not to mention that Guidetti insisted on keeping the bad performers in the game. We need serious changes, one of them is the coach. You just want to change him because he is NOT Turkish. Guidetti is a genius in volleyball but without the instrument to do it then he cant do anything. Very bad receives, weak block, spike errors, setting errors and he did a lot of substitutions. He is the farthest from the problem of this team
@@Anne-lk6eg Lol It's not about Guidetti not being Turkish. We have no problems with his nationality. We love him and we are grateful for his contribution to Turkish volleyball so far. He founded a volleyball academy for our underprivileged little girls and his wife is a Turkish volleyball player. However, someone who closely follows both teams knows well that his Vakıfbak management and the national team management are not the same anymore. He have no passion as before for the national team anymore, he made it clear in the interview he gave yesterday. Now it's time to to leave the national team and continue with Vakıfbank. And I also criticized our own team and players, no need to be triggered.

Congratulations to my Serbia and all of these girls who played awesome (Lozo, Aleksić, Bjelica, Pušić, Stevanović, Drča and every other) but I'm so happy that Buša showed that she's not that weak and that she can receive pretty well in though moments. Turkey thought that if they press her with serve she'll break, but she didn't only received awesomely, but her attack was good too! Congratulations Serbia! Santorelli will have hard time making team for World Championship, especially with choosing OH!
