Oshi no Ko’s full version is out and I really like it. I really like how they incorporate idol like sounds in their backing track, whilst also being a bit darker at times through the rap section. Probably gonna be my second favorite op.

No Magical Destroyers, one of the best Op of the past few years. Hells Paradise and Heavenly Delusion are also bangers. Legendary Hero is Dead's op is underrated. Liked the sound of No. 24. Also Dead Mount Death Play's opening sounds like another banger. Skip and Loafer's op is really cute too. We still need Insomniacs After School to drop their opening too. With all that said, this might be one of the best anime seasons ever, even better than fall 2022 in my opinion.
I really hope that Mahou Shoujo Magical Destroyers opening is going to appear on the next list. That thing is a trip, one of the most unique openings that I have seen.

Honestly this might be a small brain take for me to say but a huge part of an OP for me is that replayability (aka adding them to Spotify playlists) just cuz I’m huge into Japanese music. That’s why my rankings are more music based and why I wouldn’t have Magical Destroyers high on a list based on my preferences, but I definitely acknowledge that the visuals are definitely one of the best OP visuals we’ve seen this year and it definitely deserves the praise it’s getting on that front imo

If you'll allow me, because there were no anime awards at the end of the year, it's my favorite video and the one I look forward to the most every year.
Idk I personally like only 2-3 of them so far, that's not too many openings. There are some brilliant series, there are also some not this "ambitious" shows but if we talk about opening's it's not really good season. I didn't really like Jigokuraku opening at first but after watching it few times I think it's best op in season, there is not really any good competition Jigokuraku op is just higher level, second opening I really enjoy is Yuusha ga Shinda it's really catchy, funny and also really well made

Personally I'd put "Shinda" from the Legendary hero is dead as number one, such a bop and hidden gem. I'd also put Mashle's and Lv999's openings higher. Still really good list as always
not a dead certainty yet, but if the visuals are even moderately good, Oshi no Ko clears by an absurd margin. oh, also, the Magical Destroyers OP is the most genuinely deranged OP of the year. I think it's in the conversation with Heavenly Delusion and Hell's Paradise for season's best. The song is probably unlistenable outside the context of the OP, though, it's kind of a weird, abrasive piece. Dead Mount Death Play's OP is pretty good, too, I hope it makes top ten in the final version. The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion has a banger song, solid visuals. gonna be a bit boring if Demon Slayer tops the final. but the song simply isn't as good as Oshi no Ko's, all due respect and love to both MAN WITH A MISSION and Milet. again, YOASOBI clears. nobody else was coming to play seriously, by comparison. well, Tonikawa's goes pretty hard, I'm so relieved they went for the same general kind of sound as the first season's OP song.

The op of jigokuraku isnt only the best op of the season with a lot of diferent. Is one of the best opening in the history. In a parcial objetive opinión the best openings taht i had never seen are (more to less) op 2 made in abys, op jigokuraku, op 13 black clover, op 12 and 13 bleach, op no game no life
“so bad” is over exaggerated wth, they are all good songs except for mashle op. other than mashle op everything else is subjective but i like them a lot. but god damn I never wanna hear that mashle op again

Vinland saga + survive said the prophet = perfect

Shayou by Yorushika (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu) is my pick of the season! Oshi no Ko, Jigokuraku and Skip to Loafer are up there in the top too.
I would like to recommend Magical Destroyers Op. It's actually pretty insane in a unique way that stands out 👌

The best one without a doubt is Tengoku daimakyo, it's visually brilliant and the song is great, Magical destroyer it's also very good.
Vinland saga shits on tengoku hundred times is over if you are considering only the visuals.
