For a larger guy looking to purchase a kayak, could you tell me how the new native titanx 13.5 compares to the nucanoe unlimited. I've been fixated on the unlimited.
You can’t compare stability from a titan to a nucanoe if you want something solid and stable with good features I’d go with a titan if you want more speed and a light setup with decent stability I’d go with a necanoe. It feels a bit cheap tho

My NK180 takes my outback 5.5mph top speed. I guess it must be because it’s a smaller kayak. That looks so fun to test!!!

Battery powered kayaks are nice.... but some of us look at kayaking for the physical exercise... not just cruising on the water.

@@AliexFolgueira I enjoy it too.... I find that pedaling the Kayak becomes swxond nature while I'm out on the water.... I don't even think about it.... it's like breathing.... so I also get a good workout in while I enjoy a day of fishing!

Not really. Never have to worry about distance and battery life with a pdl drive . There a market for both
@@masonburden4393 Limits to distance as you will become tired. The battery foot steering is the future. Once these batteries start lasting days then the PDL is dead.

@@masonburden4393 Agreed. I don't see the pedal drive going away anytime soon. There's plenty of us out there who prefer pedal drives over motorized. If I had a choice between my Bigwater PDL and this kayak, there's no question I would stick with my PDL for several reasons, including exercise, reliability, and control (with this kayak, seems like you'll have to use your paddle much more once you get to your spot).
The only reason I would get a motor is for its spot lock feature. If they come out with a compact unit whose primary function was to provide spot lock, I'd probably get it, but besides that, motors aren't for me.

You basically didn't show us anything about this kayak, motor. Not the design, battery size, nothing except it can go fast. Nothing wrong with going fast though.
