What I love about Kim Dami is she dresses well, very chic! She is not an average beauty like other Korean actress, overall, she is very pretty, she has the X factor, and a very good actress. She carries herself very well, that’s why she has the total look that no one can match. While I always like Choi Woo Shik, it seems he never age. The two has a very good chemistry. I guess someone will agree with me, if they become more than friends 😊 They are very cute couple also.

Some people are born genius but they rather keep it from the world due to their complex personality. Our obstacle of seeing the intelectual side from Ung is probably influenced by our upbringing and education stigma that one is considered to be intelligent when they're successful in academics. This drama helps us break that stigma.

Ep 7 epilogue, when Yeonsu skipped class and go to library and he saw Choi Ung there, same with your prejudice to Woong, Yeunso also said that Woong should give her the book that Woong was holding that time because he might not be able to understand it anyway because it is about philosophy but Woong mentioned the content of the book and Yeonsu was stunned to speak, she then asked Woong to eat with her instead.

one of the best dramas i’ve ever watch. the vibes of OBS is actually so calming and relaxing however will bring you to tears when you dig deeper into the story itself. highly recommended !!

A show has never made me feel so many butterflies, anticipation, comfort and shivers as this has and so much of it is down to this amazing cast. It honestly might be one of my favourites ever already. Just the perfect atmosphere that I will look back on so often and with fond memories 👌❤️ Also even Wooshik at the end wanted to give us more content 😭
I thought itaewon class was my perfect drama (watched it for PSJ and then fell for Kim Dami), but it turns out our beloved summer tops everything. OMG how beautifully executed the drama is. It still amazes me everytime.

This drama was pretty innovative in several respects. - Storytelling: the timeline jumps makes it an excellent repeat watch so that you don't miss any details, but still is understandable through a first full-watch. It can get a bit wonky sometimes, but never to the point of confusion. - Cinematography: another point that aids its main storytelling is that the cinematography for the drama is INCREDIBLE. You can tell the difference between the high school shots, the college shots and the initial relationship shots at a simple glance. As for negative points, I think some plot points are a BIT... contrived should I say? The main male lead's adoption angle, the second male lead's sudden introduction of his estranged mother, the art rival's sudden disappearance for 80% of the main story and the lack of conclusive resolution for some other side character's plot points. For example, there was so much left on the table with the female lead's self-admitted inferiority complex. This leaves the actual drama to feel a little bit drawn out than it actually should. Without the strong secondary character stories, I think this could've been easily served in a 12-episode plot than a 16-episode one. Overall, amazing cast chemistry. Great and innovative storytelling. Several plot holes and missed opportunities. 8/10 for me -- good watch.
Woo-Shik and Da-Mi are always matching! Even in the drama, years later, they met each other in the elevator and wore the same colour clothes as well, which I find very interesting. I love them together and can't wait for what 'Our Beloved Summer' holds for us in the next episodes! :)
The messiness of these characters is what has me invested in them. It is not your typical love story and I am here for all of it. Bravo to the cast on great work so far.

I love all Writer Kyoungchal Han's webtoons. Casting Kim Sung Cheol as character from on of the webtoon made me so happy. Kim Sung Cheol is getting cooler and always show different charm in each project. I fell in love since Prison Playbook 😭 Too bad I can't watch him on theater too 😔 I'm really looking forward to every episode of Our Beloved Summer and Kim Sung Cheol's next appearance ♥️ I watched The Witch and found Kim Dami as a gem. I really loved them in the movie WITCH and I kinda fantasized about their characters having a romantic line in that movie (although they were enemies) so it was really satisfying for me when this drama started airing. Although the characters are different but they still have the crackling chemistry they had during WITCH.
You can definitely see the difference between the editors of netflix korea and the swoon... How do i say this, Netflix Kor contents seemed to gear towards showcasing men in their interviews & socmed posts (I'm not against any actors, just how netflix kor edits it), and you can barely listen to the thoughts of the actresses or see solo posts dedicated for them. Thankfully, the swoon is here to give us content for amazing actresses like Dami 💛💙
The way this drama is written and presented to us, I was sure this was aired on either TvN or JTBC, both of which are a bit more experimental on their K-drama plots / topics, so I was surprised this was aired on SBS. Whether the quality was influenced by its partnership with Netflix, I probably will never know, but it's great to see more of this type of drama aired on national TV.
Oh I'm almost certain it was partnering with Netflix that influenced its quality. It feels like kdrama produced with Netflix gets more leeway in how it's made, not to talk of budget too

literally the whole cast seems so natural with each other. wooshik seems to always make dami and seongcheol laugh. even though he is the oldest, he doesn't seem much older then them. ik 5 years isn't much of a different but still they seem all the same age
that romcom is really a lie, barely laugh, only ✨pain✨ but aside from that, everything about this drama is so warm and nostalgic literally like the rain pouring while the sun is shining

I love this drama in 2021 the most the chemistry between these 3 is best and the main couple ung and yeonsu is so good they portrayed their feelings which they had in past and their breakup scene was sad I cried 😢 rooting for ung and yeonsu always but sad when I see the 2nd lead holding back his feelings also bcz he is friends with choi ung and he knows how he struggled after yeonsu broke up with him.

I love all Writer Kyoungchal Han's webtoons. Casting Kim Sung Cheol as character from on of the webtoon made me so happy. Kim Sung Cheol is getting cooler and always show different charm in each project. I really loved them in the movie WITCH and I kinda fantasized about their characters having a romantic line in that movie (although they were enemies) so it was really satisfying for me when this drama started airing. Although the characters are different but they still have the crackling chemistry they had during WITCH.
You can definitely see the difference between the editors of netflix korea and the swoon... How do i say this, Netflix Kor contents seemed to gear towards showcasing men in their interviews & socmed posts (I'm not against any actors, just how netflix kor edits it), and you can barely listen to the thoughts of the actresses or see solo posts dedicated for them. Thankfully, the swoon is here to give us content for amazing actresses like Dami 💛💙

The way this drama is written and presented to us, I was sure this was aired on either TvN or JTBC, both of which are a bit more experimental on their K-drama plots / topics, so I was surprised this was aired on SBS. Whether the quality was influenced by its partnership with Netflix, I probably will never know, but it's great to see more of this type of drama aired on national TV.
Oh I'm almost certain it was partnering with Netflix that influenced its quality. It feels like kdrama produced with Netflix gets more leeway in how it's made, not to talk of budget too

literally the whole cast seems so natural with each other. wooshik seems to always make dami and seongcheol laugh. even though he is the oldest, he doesn't seem much older then them. ik 5 years isn't much of a different but still they seem all the same age

I love this drama in 2021 the most the chemistry between these 3 is best and the main couple ung and yeonsu is so good they portrayed their feelings which they had in past and their breakup scene was sad I cried 😢 rooting for ung and yeonsu always but sad when I see the 2nd lead holding back his feelings also bcz he is friends with choi ung and he knows how he struggled after yeonsu broke up with him.

This story is one of the best. Even the ending was really the best. Most of the time endings are just wrap up fast no more story just ending. This one have a story up to the end!! Kudos to all!! I’m so happy Sungcheol is getting more projects now. I only knew him when I watched Vincenzo. His character and acting there was remarkable. I can’t remember how many times I replayed his scenes with Joonki. Lol. I admired him more when he guested at Joonki’s online fan meeting. Then I watched “Do You Like Brahms?” and fell for him even more. I hope he’ll soon play the lead role in a drama.
