Keep up the good work, you don’t know anything unless you try, and I think with your knowledge you can pull this off😊. I can’t promise anything but I have the mechanics chilton for a1980cb 900 custom if you need it but just keep doing what you’re doing and you’ll have an amazing old school cruiser . I will keep watching to see your progress and learn from your video’s. Hopefully you can inspire me to work on my own 1980 cb900 I always ❤ that bike it has been sitting in my mothers garage for 43 yrs, with only 2000 miles on it ,hopefully the engine is not locked up. Happy trails Tom😊 p.s. there’s never time to do it right but there’s always time to do it over!

Thank you for your kind words Tom! I’m glad to hear you liked the video. I am surprised to hear that your bike has only 2000 miles! I hope you are inspired to dust it off and have some fun! Good luck to you!

I'm only about 8 minutes in but I like your attitude. Ya just gotta go for it sometimes.

Current working on 1985 Honda Nighthawk S 750 with same hard build up. Dinged cylinder head and pistons not big deal. But any small bits in oil system will damage con rod and crank bearings too. Very risky to clean pistons on motor as bits fall into case

sounds fun! make sure you have all pistons firing along with the crankshaft, otherwise the transmission will interfere with the carburetor as it usually does with those tricky nighthawks am I right 🙄🙄🙄🙄
