@@punklover99 you know, I think I’ll defend this person because I’m used to hearing that I liked terrible things like Michael Bay’s Transformers movies, the Cars movies (even Cars 2), Pixels, the first Goosebumps movie with Jack Black, the list goes on a bit more but that’s as much as I can remember. It's not really a video game film, but it has taken inspiration from video games. The movie Hardcore Henry. It's done totally in first person POV. Very fun movie in my opinion!
I can tell before I even watch this, I think it was from jumanji: you said, I love any movie game related. And now your watching pixels, I can already tell this is gonna be a good reaction video!
this isnt meant to be a kids movie, its meant to be a movie for the older adults to relive nostalgia "and bring your kids too we can make money off them a little by making it a little kiddy and entertaining for them". I really loved this movie and never understood the hate, in my personal top 10 movies of all time

There’s actually a TH-cam video that Adam Sandler saw that had the same idea.. made by one person I think.. has Tetris disappearing levels of buildings..
I honestly really like this movie, again it's not necessarily fantastic but that wasn't exactly my expectation either, it's just a stupid kind of fun to enjoy with a friend/family Also I have to admit some of the jokes got laughs out of me as someone who grew up with a lot of these classics even though I'm relatively young, I'd be lying if I said they didn't
Another classic 90s video game movie you should check out is The Wizard. Fred Savage on an across country trip to get his little brother to the national video game tournament. All while evading his parents and a bounty hunter.

I remember when I was younger, me and my family would go to a DVD rental store nearby a lot, one of the movies was Pixels and I really liked this movie. Haven't watched it since but I might check it out again
Pretty sure Dinklage's character is meant to be a mockery of Billy Mitchell, who's notorious for having cheated at Donkey Kong, and who gets all butthurt and litigious whenever anyone calls him out on his illegitimate speedrun record.
One of my favourite all time comments about Billy Mitchell is that he looks like someone's first try at drawing Keanu Reeves for Pictionary or Gartic Phone lol
I actually enjoyed this movie even if some of the dialog was a bit dumb. Also I grew up in the 80's (I was 6 in 1980) so the nostalgia was epic! It was a great decade and I'm so grateful! *edit* Seb, this is ALSO a kids movie but the primary demographic is the 40 to 50 year old male. Or at least that's what I think. Apparently it was profitable for its small budget

The Taj Mahal is destroyed by ARKANOID....one of the best and hardest brick breaker games ever made. I thought this movie was a lot of fun. A very creative idea, and great nostalgia factir.
