I think you made a great video, looks very professional and it's very helpful to hear you riding around with it on so you can get a good idea of what it really sounds like rather than just someone revving the engine while the bike is stationary. Engines sound much different under load. I'm thinking of getting this slip on for my bike which is an RS, not a GS, but I think the muffler is the same but just the link pipe is different.

I'd highly recommend you this exhaust, the sound comparison with others that cost around double price, don't worth, that's why this exhaust is so interesting. @@GRTMOTO Got it installed before Christmas and have done a few rides with it now and can say I enjoy the sound much better than the stock exhaust. The db killer is is in and that is plenty loud enough for me, think it gives a nice sound that is very deep, not raspy, fairly quiet when cruising (just a very slight drone) but still gives a good Bbbrrrrraaaappp when on the gas. Thanks to you for making the video and helping me with my decision

Hi Youssef, are you riding without dBKiller? In that case you'll get the same with this (whitout dbKiller), but fortunatelly on this one is extremely easy to remove the dBKiller or to put in. Then I have the choice of 'what Im going to do today', just a couple of hours of fun? remove it, a 6 hours travel? put it. I'm always carrying my dBKiller in the lateral side bags which is a plus as well. :)
@@GRTMOTO It's great that you are still happy with your exhaust, I think we don't all have the same sensitivity to noise. I haven't removed the DBkillers in my case, it's already too loud with it ! I had the stock exhaust for 10k km, it was great for touring but a little bit too discreet, anyway I could ride a day without fatigue. With the SC, the sound is loudly great, but it start to be boring in few hours for me, especially in charge. It's hard to find a compromise. I'll probably put back the stock exhaust.

For me Im happy at the moment and if it would be too noise for travelling (I already did it and it doesnt) i will put earplugs instead of replacing it. Ride safe my friend!! :D
1 week ago i bought the arrow sonora for my 1250 GS, i had a akrapovic before that. Both of them are to soft for me. This review has just made me order this exhaust from arrow, lol. I like a raw sound, i just hope its not overkill.
Hi Dominique! I don't know how the dbkiller removal in the Sonora is, but this Arrow sounds better than the Akra with or without dbkiller, it's a fact. In addition, how easy is to remove the dbkiller, or to put it back, as your convenience. I fitted to my R1250GS as you see in the video. Bought a new R1250GSA and I fitted the same exhaust, but had to buy again because my first GS was stolen. If I had to buy a new R1250GS tomorrow, I already know which exhaust to fit on: Arrow MaxiRace tech. 😄😄✌️✌️ Cheers man
Hi Gary, yes it does. The sound is really raw. If you're going to travel with your GS I'd recommend you having earplugs or put the dBKiller. The sound in my video doesn't show how it really sounds. Regards.

Hi! No, I didn't notice/feel any loss of power if I'm honest. As I told to other comments below, if you want to gain power with the exhaust, you'd need to change more things such as airfilter and reprogramming the ECU, but I think this bike already has enough power to do that. :) Enjoy it because it's an amazing purchase. Traditionally you will loose a little torque down low but gain that back up top in the rev range. Mind you, the boxer 1250 is a stonking engine for torque down low so you may not notice it.
Hi Rob! I would recommend this one because the price/quality is the best I've found. It's very easy to fit in, and it looks awesome in black. I liked the SC Project due to its sound, but it was a little bit expensive and when I replaced this one and turn on my bike (no dBkiller) I'd noticed the Arrow was the perfect one I was looking for. Hola César. No salta ninguna alarma de gases ni nada parecido, al menos en mi modelo de moto (R1250GS) supongo que las 1200 normales pasará lo mismo. Menos bajos tampoco he notado, tampoco más, ya se sabe que muchas veces hay efecto 'placebo' por el sonido de un escape, pero yo no he notado ni más ni menos bajos. Lo que sí he notado son las reducciones, que sin dBKiller petardea bastante, y también si tienes el cambio PRO y lo usas a partir de 4.000 rpm, cada vez que cambias hay una detonación. Es flipante. Cualquier duda ya sabes, ¡un saludo César!

Ciao Giordano! :D , unfortunatelly I didn't hear in person the other two exhausts but I can confirm this one sounds a little bit more than the Akrapovic, both WITH dBKiller, but the Akra sounds a little bit more rough than Arrow. Im editing a video with both sounding at the same time, but anything about the Remus8 and SC-Project (this one was my favourite). :) , kind regards Giordano!!! Cheers

Hola Xisco, el dBKiller lo puse para el viaje que hice a Extremadura, después para rutas y demás se lo he vuelto a quitar. La diferencia es abismal entre llevarlo con y sin dBKiller, así que lo llevo en una de las bolsas laterales y lo voy poniendo/quitando según veo para qué uso le voy a dar a la moto. ¡Saludos!

Hola, hoy ya monté el escape arrow, una pregunta, notas que la moto vibra mas?? He visto que en la parte trasera, es escape se monta al chasis sin la goma silentblock que lleva el escape de serie, esto se debe montar así o tu la llevas instalada??
Buenas Jesús, pues si te soy sincero no suena apenas nada en el vídeo comparado con cómo suena en vivo. La cámara es una GoPro7 black, y lo único que lleva es una espuma especial para cámaras, para que entre el menor viento posible. Estoy a ver si me dejan una grabadora profesional, para volver a grabar otro video, porque el sonido lo merece más. Saludos!!!
Hi there! Not yet :P , hahaha this is a thing I was discussing with a friend of mine. He had the 1200GS air model and had to replace a Remus exhaust because it burned the plate. In my case after more than 5.000 kms since I've replaced the oem muffler, there isn't no burned signals. Cheers!!
@@firstime911 nope, just the back muffler. Replacing the complete system perhaps affects the flow of the gases out, and if you do that might is better to replace the intake air flow with an aftermarket air filter (such as K&N, Green, DNA, etc) and remapping the CPU. At least that is what I did with my last motorcycle due to replaced the complete exhaust system (full +decat), was a Kawasaki ZX10R.

ya monté el mismo excape, sonido espectacular sin db killer, y como dices, el precio de los Akra o SC son varias veces el del Arrow.... con la diferencia de precio da para pagar alguna q otra....
a mi me costó muchísimo poder quitarlo, tras quitar la placa con el punto de soldadura, y el circlip, me las vi para sacar el db kiler... el tuyo te entra en su sitio con facilidad?? el mio rasca mucho y no entra, hay q darle martillo....
@@xiscocb2727 El mío sí, por suerte sí que entra y sale, cuesta un poco pero como llevo herramienta en la moto no tardo ni 1 minuto en ponerlo/sacarlo. Si ves que cuesta un poco de meter, échale (pero poco) WD40 o algo así.

Buenas de nuevo Antonio. Pues yo no soy mucho más alto que tú (173cm) y sí que me apaño bien. La mía no lo tiene, pero sé que hay un KIT DE REBAJE para la GS. Lo sé porque hay gente baja que la compra con este kit, después le bajas la suspensión y pones el asiento bajo y yo creo que llegarías sin ningún problema. ¿Lo mejor para salir de dudas? Acercarte a un concesionario y preguntar, si es la moto que te gusta Antonio, no renuncies a ella por la altura, que creo que se puede. Un abrazo.

@@GRTMOTO la idea es ir sin catalizador pero con dbkiller para que no me multen, quiero probar la moto para ver cómo va y valorar si mapearla o no

ya monté el mismo excape, sonido espectacular sin db killer, y como dices, el precio de los Akra o SC son varias veces el del Arrow.... con la diferencia de precio da para pagar alguna q otra....
Me alegro mil de que te guste, además como el dbKiller es tan fácil de poner/quitar , yo siempre lo llevo encima de la moto. ¡¡¡¡A disfrutarlo!!!!!
a mi me costó muchísimo poder quitarlo, tras quitar la placa con el punto de soldadura, y el circlip, me las vi para sacar el db kiler... el tuyo te entra en su sitio con facilidad?? el mio rasca mucho y no entra, hay q darle martillo....
@@xiscocb2727 El mío sí, por suerte sí que entra y sale, cuesta un poco pero como llevo herramienta en la moto no tardo ni 1 minuto en ponerlo/sacarlo. Si ves que cuesta un poco de meter, échale (pero poco) WD40 o algo así.
Suena muy muy bien. Da gusto escuchar el ruido que hace. Enhorabuena buen cambio si Señor. Que pedazo de moto, me encanta esa moto, Yo tengo una Honda 600 CBF. Mi problema para las motos altas es que mido 1,70 y soy de piernas mas bien cortas. Buenas de nuevo Antonio. Pues yo no soy mucho más alto que tú (173cm) y sí que me apaño bien. La mía no lo tiene, pero sé que hay un KIT DE REBAJE para la GS. Lo sé porque hay gente baja que la compra con este kit, después le bajas la suspensión y pones el asiento bajo y yo creo que llegarías sin ningún problema. ¿Lo mejor para salir de dudas? Acercarte a un concesionario y preguntar, si es la moto que te gusta Antonio, no renuncies a ella por la altura, que creo que se puede. Un abrazo.

@@robertbowness2979 I can confirm after 30.000 kms it's the best option, overall you can take off/on the dbKiller in 15 seconds, very easy removal. I'll buy it again for my next GSA which will come in October. Enjoy!!
