Oren-Ishii will always stand in in my book as one of the most compelling and spellbinding villainesses in cinema history. A woman as cold and ruthless as the blade she wields, and yet not without a perverse sense of honor. She shares more in common with Beatrix than any other antagonist in the two-films, and is the only one, (aside from Bill) who truly understands the other's nature, and how far she'll go for vengeance.
I very much agree , she could have been Ike a franchise all in her en that is up until the time of her death , I love when movies or shows do that go to the past use new cgi
Literally makes me tear up I can just feel her despair. Sadness. and anger. Lost of all feelings and emotion. Just revenge ..... its just so so sad and morbid.
At a time when I knew the least about my enemies, the first name on my Death List, O-Ren Ishii, was the easiest to find. But of course when one manages the difficult task of becoming queen of the Tokyo underworld, one doesn’t keep it a secret, does one? @@garcalej I think she did. She had the most difficulty in killing O-Ren. She was the only one who could actually dominate in the battle without playing dirty. ( Budd doesn't count he caught Beatrix off-guard)
De todos sus ex compañeros ahora vueltos enemigos, estoy seguro que Beatrix a quien más respetaba era a O'Ren y ella también sentía lo mismo, por eso tuvieron la lucha más increíble en Kill Bill
I was about that age when I wasn't used to the over the top gore, I watched it, and I was like...in complete shock. Sure I had seen my fair share of gore but it was in war films, fast, not so up close and prolonged. This set me on a new path and I definitely don't regret it. I'm 32 as of this recent September 1st. I anxiously awaited the conclusion to this tale and I wasn't disappointed, but these two films changed me and really introduced me to a world of Quentin Tarantino films that quite frankly I'm glad that it did. My parents were displeased by this, but once I became old enough, they really couldn't stop me from watching films of a graphic nature and if they had great story telling behind it, I was all for it. I would go back later and watch earlier films, see what I missed out on, and then anxiously await new releases. There are still some that alluded me, but I aim to watch them all. I'm an avid movie collector and a lover of film. But Kill Bill really kicked me in the ass to try and get in the field. Sadly I have not been able to achieve my dreams of being a writer and producer. Field is tough to get in especially when you're in debt...maybe in the next life. Don't think I'd ever get to Quentin Tarantino quality anyway.
The animated bit was the most sickening bit for me as a child. Especially when she shoots them in the feet. I turned it on and off because I was confused at what I was watching. When she spoke to the first lady, the conversation was akin to a therapist. I was somewhat interested and then people were being killed in creative ways.
How many people have seen long days of vengeance?? Yes Quinten popularized the peice but it was great long before that.. Quinten knows how to soundtrack a film for sure.. *Wimper*..does this look like the face of... someone..you. killed?

There are strange parallels.

5:33-6:20 the complete and utter loss of innocence is soul-crushing, but in the best way.

This song is such a good mashup of the best westerns themes, from so many great films.
This melody deserves much many more comments praisly. Though it is famous with a violence movie, the ryhtm is so recreative and relaxing.
There frankly should different versions of this track.
Chills every time I hear this whole soundtrack....just pure genius
"O-ren swore revenge. Luckily for her, Boss Matsumoto was a pedophile."

That pic is when she chopped that man head off 😬😬😬😂😂😂
Boss Tanaka
Well he was being a racist and a male choulvanist.
Boss Tanaka was somewhat heroic in Netflix's Kate.
Nice execution scene by the way 😅😂
O-Ren-Ishi, tarantino debio hacer mas secuelas con este increible personaje
Serían precuelas bro
I love how the soundtrack sounds like a western song but still has a calming and peaceful vibe like a Japanese song
That's because it is from a western. A good chunk of the music from Kill Bill are from old 1960s westerns like Death Rides a Horse or Navajo Joe.
I was 12 or 13 when I watched Kill Bill. now I'm 20

4:26min I just imagine the sword ready to rift up the bodies, bloods sparcing out everywhere like rain. AMAZING!
thank you. this video is awesome. it brings back good memories. I could just sleep peacefully while listening to this!
winterfrostwidow It gave me nightmares the first times I saw the movie, but now it gives me chills
Me too. Its still in my top ten movie list (vol 1 & 2 are one movie).

I think of Jodi Arias driving through the Arizona desert, heading towards Phoenix, with murder on her mind.
Jodi looks like a typical female serial in a film. The glasses, the face, the hair style.
I want to be villain my whole life.

What soundtrack is this
It's originally from The Grand Duel, a western starring Lee Van Cleef. It's absolutely worth watching too.
명작과 그 OST는 꾸준히 조명받는다 하모니카 진짜..후....
