Yup....was in my local Aldi....sudden stampede of people whk had cleared Tesco....five minutes later shelves were stripped.......
We have the biggest Aldi warehouse in lreland 2 mins up the road....idiots still hoarded......🤣🤣🤣
Soooo I see the amount of toilet paper needed to make this film is probably what caused the recent toilet paper shortage 😶 thanks a lot, folks! 😂😂😂
What a terrific little video that illustrates how influential media can be, and the herd mentality. Excellent job guys!!!
No toilet rolls were harmed in the making of this film😌
I love the tire rolling through the scene (although it wasn't on fire), reprized late by a roll of toilet paper. Brilliant! This is hysterical parody.
This is one of best shot film I ever wathed. From brazil I can tell this happen some time ago with achohol in gel.
Wow! So glad you enjoyed it!
Ray-Ray kicked ass in this. Keep an eye on that girl because she's going places.
Better not be a disclaimer at the end that no toiler paper rolls were harmed in the production of this film.
Meanwhile, people with bidets are at home, listening to the news and asking each other, "Toilet paper shortage? What's that?"
So funny, because I am totally that person watching this! 😂
The Grunge Jesus himself! So stoked to watch Jake do his magic!
This is so underrated- it was actually rlly good
Very enjoyable I I had not remembered the toilet paper shortage of 73!
And this happened. A friend of mine bought a huge amount when the "shortage" was going on. She had toilet paper for two years. Get a bidet for 35 dollars.
Absolute ptsd from twenty twenty
yes!!!! so good!
I love the running gag (rolling gag?) of the tires in the background. This is a funny video!
its a rollin gag tho
The film this decade needs.
During the first lockdown in Ireland there was a huge rush on toilet paper in the shops. I have no clue why, but there were shops where the shelves for toilet paper were empty.
Yup; the same on mainland UK. No rhyme or reason for it. It was a total wipe-out!
It was a global panic that started due to the reporting of an actual toilet paper shortage in New Zealand (or was it Australia?). That actual shortage was due to a covid outbreak in the only company that supplied toilet paper. When people in other countries heard about that, they got scared there might be a future shortage where they were, so they rushed to buy TP. That created an actual shortage. And the more the media reported on it, the more people panicked and mass-bought toilet paper until stores were empty of it pretty much everywhere.
Operation ‘Arse wipe’ was to generate more fear and confusion that a real pandemic was underway. I know people who horded tp, they were told to do so by their lodge leadership. This film is fairly typical mockery from the same culture that’s been here for the last two hundred years.
Likewise in Canada. All the media could talk about was toilet paper shortage but the shelves were never empty of it and all the customers were wondering why all the talk about toilet paper, which you could kind of do without (use Kleenex or paper towel or even newspaper like in the Depression) The customers were more concerned about food, especially those on medical diets.
I love this short film, depicting a society captured by the media, greedy and selfish businessmen. I love this humorous and satirical storytelling.
What satire? Society really is captured by the media and greedy business men.
Satisfying story! Really well done, right down to the sound design. Thanks!
Soooo good
Thank you!!
Excellent!
Brilliant! Q: What separates many people from animals? A: Very little.
this is based on a true story
It's Sydney during lockdown, including the fights over toilet paper in supermarkets😌
loved it @ 6:15
Excellent acting and movie!
That was some movie theater quality filming. The whole thing was done top quality.
A variation of this occurred in Walmart last March...
this is amazing the cast is perfect
Of course it happened again last spring with the covid thing, paper then dried pasta.1st the shelves go empty then our warehouse goes empty then the factories warehouse goes empty. then you are waiting on the paper machines to make the paper. I work in a very large supermarket saw it all happen.
We still have TP left over from that.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
So much toilet paper was wasted making this film. What a tragedy!
How to tell when someone is "full of ****"? They drive to Costco, fearing a shortage of toilet paper...
This makes me think of India
We are just scared animals & somebody makes big money with us....All the time
With shelves toilet paper gary
Let's all get bidets already!
That was very funny and enjoyable. More please!
Surely, in reality this could never happen? ;-)
As in 1973 so in 2020
Two hundred a roll! Today’s price in California. Bums can’t never afford it so they use rocks, lmao.
It's pretty funny short
The truth and nothing but the truth.

Whaaaaattt??? Based on a true story???
I don't remember that happening. (I was about 20.)
I remember this and it didn't go very well at all.
It was a JOKE!!! What is WRONG with people?
Whats funny about this: look outside, FUEL/Energy, the very same is happening, right now............
No shit, Five Stars was much better.
Not as accurate as the toilet paper and everything else shortages 2020-2022
Moral? People are stupid.
wow this wasn't funny even a little bit
comedy?
I don't really remember THAT shortage of THAT time, but I do remember the shortage right around the covid time. I went to the store....................NO BREAD...NO PAPERTOWLES...AND no toilet paper. lol I was agast. That's all I have to say about that. Sentebay 🚽🧻🧻🧻🚫➖➖‼⁉❓❓👀😜🤑🤨🙄😳😠💯👀
