- Whether it was yelling profanities at the crowd, or simply rocking, The 4 Sknns were truly a killer live act in their heyday . With Guido Toledo and Gary Charlson on guitars, Richard Streeter on bass and Pat Tomek and or Randy Morrow on drums, they played Parody Hall almost every Tuesday night from 1983 to around 1993. They played hundreds of songs veryloud and very fast. They rehearsed at least 3 times during their years together and were never the worst for it. For all the sordid details just go to www.4sknns.com.
This is one of the most underrated groups I have ever seen in my entire life. They played so many songs so fantastic it’s unbelievable
I almost want to say that this is better than the original. You guys are awesome.
These guys are fantastic. Great video.
His voice is fantastic. I really like this group.
I can't get over how good these guys are!
Okay, just found these guys, and wow! Great vocals and the playing is tight. Smooth transition from one song to the next. Excellent!
Wow! Beautiful lead, harmonies and fantastic music. 👏
I love this guy's voice and ability to do magnificent covers.
Those guys are excellent!
The guy in the orange shirt nailed the vocals.
"it was the sixties" and you did a great job on the cover. Speaking as someone who LIVED the sixties movement, you brought back a lot of great memories with this one. CARRY ON.
Lead singer has a very nice voice! Good performance all around.
The only cover band that can play the original version as well as the orginal artists. An incredible group!
Are you still performing? Would love to attend your concert.
Wow, How good are these guys, Great stuff
I know. I keep coming back here, hoping that they are back together, performing again!
What fantastic voices.
This man can sing very well
I found these guys several years ago, looking for Walk Away Renee. I have listened and looked for them ever since. I have found a grown up Gary Charlson in several bands around the Kansas City area. It is now June 29, 2024.
Very nice cover - enjoyed. Love the rocky edge to it. Rock on guys
Why oh why were you guys not known world wide? The lead singer (sorry I don't know your name) is truly awesome! Great harmonizing and instrument playing from the rest of the band as well. I'm enjoying you all very much.💜
Some fame is coming their way, thru this channel and diehard fans. But you're right, awesome group.

Awesome!! Does this group still exist??
They leave me speechless with their skills and talent. Do they ever play today?
It was 35 years ago. What do you think?
@@WeWereYoungandCrazy Last time they jam?
Awesome group 👏
Actually, I have seen videos of Gary Charlson and Richard Streeter playing together, in other bands, the Crayolas, the Instamatics. Try finding them by their personal names and band names
Viva!
너무 좋아요 ^^ GOOD
super
Great
The Feedback Boys are really good! ❤
@Jackly300
Dang. Missed that one.
Is that better now?
The lead singer is great. Where are these guys now. All the guys have a great voice
The lead singer, Gary Charlson, lives in Kansas City, and plays in a band called the Instamatics.
And the crayons.
@4sknns Friend, you are a spelling God!.
What blows my mind is that they appear be only a theee-piece band (unless there is someone I'm not seeing/hearing?)
4 piece. Randy Marrow on drums. Gary Charlston, guitar and singer. Guido Toledo, guitar, keyboards, and singer. And Richard Streeter on bass, singer. Bad lighting on Richard most of the evening but he's there. This is a link to the entire evening. th-cam.com/video/7ajvIXYKr6k/w-d-xo.html
@GreatWriteUp
Nothing lately. But if and when they do, it'll be posted on this channel. Subscribe.
it should have been done before '67 as the festival in SF was that year (Monterey)
Very well done! Are you playing these days? If so, any gigs on the east coast?
There is no real music like this anymore
Dude... that red shirt has a ton of buttons!
What was the lead singers name?
Gary Charlson, Kansas City.
They seem to change lead vocalists a bit. But great cover band.
good voice but even better mullet
"Fransisco"?!? Change the title lol.
@takashijoh
Strange, we usually go over big in the gay community.
Why do beginners always their guitars down at their knees? And dont say its easier that way.
Does it really matter?
For some people it is easier.
Could you post a link to you in concert?
He is clearly not a beginner and is still in demand.
Awesome!!!
