Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 11 inaugurated the Terminal 2 of Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, built at a cost of around Rs 5000 crores, on November 11. Terminal 2 is designed as a tribute to the Garden city of Bengaluru and the passenger experience is meant to be a “walk in the garden”.

Hope they keep up . Bangalore is the only decent looking state compared to other states. Mainly because of lot of foreign companies residing in the heart of Bangalore they try to keep the area clean and tidy . Rest of the states in India should copy how Bangalore do their job.

we should Build Giant Railway stations and Giant Airports that are very vast that can accomodate more ppl for next 100+ years. Have more Direct flights to G20 nations.
Airports & Bullet Train Stations should be Linked in Future that should be kept in mind & not over populate some regions. Government should keep that in mind.

Domestic will open in december. International will open next year. According to his report..
@@dwarasamudra8889 Terminal 1 is operational since 2008 . This new terminal is terminal 2 which will take international crowd from existing terminal 1 which currently serves domestic in international both .
Terminal 2 to be operational from December mid .
Terminal 3 is under progress which will be done by 2025 . Target is to to have 100-150 million passengers annually considering this is going to be the biggest airport in terms of passenger traffic . Already number two , only behind Delhi IGI airport .

Biggest flaw in bengaluru airport is there is no different departure and arrival levels. Even a small airport like Hyderabad has different levels for arrival and departures

They are growing a 10 million square metre of garden and waterfall outside terminal and airport , so they are right in thumbnail .once you will visit the airport then only you can see how outside vicinity is under evolution where vegetation is being added ..it's work in progress and entire garden will shine in coming months only .
