Great video! I was out that direction to go rafting with my kids and the scenery is amazing! The altitude definitely does a number on anyone that is not acclimated. You start breathing heavily and your heart starts beating fast with much less effort than at lower elevations.
You had me on the edge of my seat! Better you than me riding blind at that speed. Looks like a fun trail to integrate into a day of riding in and around Golden.
I live in the area and have run Apex and Enchanted Forest many times with my daughter over the years but have not mountain biked it yet. Great vid Jeff.
Nice man! At about 7:09 is where I ruined my summer riding by crashing and breaking all the bones on my right side lol. Glad you made it look easy (but that trail right there is rowdy af)!
Enchanted I have a love hate relationship. The downs I love. The short sharp climbs I hate. That drop you stated was sketch I hit that my first time and realized it was a bit drop when I sailed over the shoulders of a pair of riders standing beside it. Sometimes not knowing what is coming up allows you to go quicker.... Sometimes! :)
Are you sure you’re riding blind? Look like you had both the eyes 👀 open, jumping & turning & climbing & having lots of fun! Always enjoy watching your vid.
Jeff your line on that drop in the middle was super sketch. Most people take a right or left line and don't cross over like you did. Awesome vid would want to see you on lap 2!
I mean other than the title and the few times you were quoted saying "I'm riding this blind"........ I would have never guessed that you were riding this the first time. You put on an absolute clinic and were just hauling through the enchanted forest like nothing!
I've been riding a long time, but I'm pretty new to MTB. How do you keep the front wheel grounded when on a steep climb? I feel like I'm having to push my front wheel down just to keep from falling backwards on the steep stuff. Any tips?
Golden is packed full of fun trails. Glad you picked a classic!
Tommy Delgado thanks for watching. Golden was super fun.
My favorite front range downhill trail.

Rob Brumfield thanks for checking out the video.

Thomas Thrower it’s super fun and has a totally different feel than the rest of the place.
Envious of your travels, Jeff! Awesome video as always. Place looks incredible.

W0QE thank you. Your lucky to live in a good spot!!
Fun stuff! Riding blind is always an extra thrill. I also love to ride old tails backwards for that fresh almost blind feel
One of my favorite trails! I’d like to see your uphill skills on Dakota ridge.. not too far from apex
"Damn climbs"! LOL You may have been riding blind but you still were flying, thanks for the vid and advice Jeff.
Bikes Trails and Greenways thanks for checking it out!
Nicely done for a blind run.
James Stoup 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice one! I want to get up to the Denver front range some time but I've still got plenty of trails to explore here in CO Springs area.
The Smaz tough choice! Lol. Lucky.
Welcome to the Front range!!! up, down, and up up up some more!!!
Dude! You are amazing. Someday I hope. Someday.

Alex Katz sorry!! Heal up.
Nice. I'd love to see a video of you riding down Apex Trail. I love the rocks on that.

Nice video! Got my Trail Boss jersey yesterday, now I just need the rain to clear out of VA so I can use it!
MTB Xterra thanks!

Super Rad Once Again!!! Always a blast!!!
The camera makes it look super sketchy, but as always, you smooth it all out. Nice riding!
Geoff Murray thanks Geoff
I saw the title and thought u were in VA at alcaevins cove
Great ride Jeff. Curious as to your average mileage?
Looks like 7000 feet in colorado. I grew up in Durango.

You should ride chimney gulch
What elevation? We live here man!
Wizler71 lol. It’s elevated for me 😊

Zach Langsley Norman bend your elbows and get your chest closer to the handlebars. On super steep stuff mine will be within inches!!
Thanks!
You make riding look tooo easy.
Dan Young check out my “we built a kicker video” lol
