This as well as the Biz as Usual vid from same session are both much better versions than original tracks. Much better recording fidelity and instrumentation separation and standouts. JP, youre really great, man. Great soloing.
I agree...that album was a great find...I bought it the same day I bought Tinseltown...what a wonderful album...every song on it is a gem...and this is a nice reproduction of the sogn in a live context....Very Satisfying
I love this song! Can someone tell me what it's about? WHat happened to Ike's voice? It's up a register. Almost sounds like someone else. I went to school and learned to read, but please don't hold it against me. LOL. Suberbious meloderbious!
blown away recently by that album discovery... who knew he was a gifted composer and lyricist in his own right... frank might have missed a great opportunity by not allowing Ike to contribute some of his writing talents
Love the sound of this kit, Duane!

Ike, I always loved this album, though I never understood this song. Please guide me to the gist of the gemini. Hope to see you in Bay area sometime.

JP, ur guitar looks like an old Brunswick Crown Jewel!
And I prefer this tempo to the original.
Doesn't sound anything like Ike. I'm confused, please explain.
he's a bit older now than he was in 1979
Haha..Probably has a stand in some where lurking about.
GEEZUS!!!
