Hi the overall stroke/compression has not been changed as the bottom of button in exact position as original. Burn space around glowplug exactly same, and buttton fit into liner interference, giving good seal. Thx for positive comment.
the aluminum button needs slightly more than .001 extra when it comes up to temp , no worry it will make the sleave that m.uch bigger on first run to temp.
Excellent video. Nice machine work! I haven't seen any recent videos, any chance you will be making more?

turbo button heads give the engine more compression and more power. the button head with the glow plug with the copper washer would give it a bit less
Wow I did something like that 40 years ago on a Cox .049 engine. Drilled the glow plug out and tapped it to accept standard fox plug.
I need a lathe. I really don't need a lathe, but I need a lathe.
Shawn Elliott was thinking the same thing
Shawn Elliott rather b welding made one
Video of engine running...?

Nice work, 40 years ago that's older than me.
Hey man cool vid, just wondering if u know the distance between the 4 head holes, like in a square formation. Thanks
i wish you had designed my sirio 09 , they deliberately change the heads to take a special plug , bastards .
Could be start of a new business you never know. Thx for interest.
Id be willing to Pay for some custom/replacement parts..
