I hope someday people come to know Heize and love her not for her association with BTS but for her own talent. Her songs are so well-made, and everything seems to just fit together when it comes to her music. She works so hard and puts all her efforts into everything she does, and what makes it so sad is that not enough people recognize her talent. @@dondone2211 Heize is in the top 10 in melon right now, about the 7~10th place (it is about 7 pm in korea and it's hard for solo artists to be in first place in the evening and night because of group fandoms streaming), and was in the first place just hours ago, but it is almost impossible to win 1st place in this week's music shows. EXO had a comeback last week and Winner Mino's 아낙네 (fiance's the english title) is still winning 1st in music shows. As I said, it is impossible beating groups with such big fandoms because of streamings and votings. But results may differ so don't loose hope if you are a Heize fan. Hope that helped you. :)

I can't stop listening to this. A lot of her songs are similar (like Star and Jenga) yet they're so different and unique. She found her signature sound, yet she knows how to use it in a unique way. She's one of the best soloists out there. Love you Heize!

Heize is one of the digital queens and also a well-known artist in Korea. I don't know why ppl think she is underrated. You've been listening to her OSTs while you watch your fav kdramas. Not many ppl can repeatedly be chosen to sing an OST. I think what feels lacking is int'l recognition. Not that she isn't mainstream. I guess at the end of the day, its mostly about personal preferences. And one thing I can always be proud about her is that, all her songs are a masterpiece in its own. Consistent on all her songs, aesthetically pleasing be it with your eyes or ears, and the lyrics always has a story to tell.

Why Heize deserve way more recognition (in my opinion) : -Her voice is amazingly beautiful, soft and distinc. -She's talented both in singing and rapping. -(imo) She kinda makes her own genre. -the vibe of her music always calms you, listening to her songs feels like night time. -Her lyrics are so good. -her music videos always deliver high artistic qualities.

I’ve listened to Heize’s music for a long time now, and it’s really surprised me with the lack of attention she’s getting. I know in the kpop+kr&b industry that it is kind of difficult to get really popular as a soloist without previously being in a group, etc. But all of Heize’s music is well made, her collaboration with Dean was flawless, as well as with Suga. She deserves a lot more attention then she has, and I personally love her and her music.

Heize is one of the digital queens and also a well-known artist in Korea. I don't know why ppl think she is underrated. You've been listening to her OSTs while you watch your fav kdramas. Not many ppl can repeatedly be chosen to sing an OST. I think what feels lacking is int'l recognition. Not that she isn't mainstream. I guess at the end of the day, its mostly about personal preferences.
And one thing I can always be proud about her is that, all her songs are a masterpiece in its own. Consistent on all her songs, aesthetically pleasing be it with your eyes or ears, and the lyrics always has a story to tell.

I’ve listened to Heize’s music for a long time now, and it’s really surprised me with the lack of attention she’s getting. I know in the kpop+kr&b industry that it is kind of difficult to get really popular as a soloist without previously being in a group, etc. But all of Heize’s music is well made, her collaboration with Dean was flawless, as well as with Suga. She deserves a lot more attention then she has, and I personally love her and her music.
Kynnyoso i would say she’s well known to Koreans due to her appearances and performances at award shows, but is not at the top (which she should be)
