I think Lego made a good choice to add a captain Rex in a 13$ set because most fans can’t afford bizarre amount of 700$
They should have made it a different version then

@@Rounderyathecruel I mean, a figure is only exclusive to a set up until it's included in another set. A highly anticipated figure like Rex, that should've had more than one figure in the first place, most likely wasn't going to stay exclusive because of that fact.

using a $600 set to gatekeep a piece of palstic thats worth like 10 cents in costs of production is wild
Here’s how they could have better handled this, UCS Rex includes a special head, physical waist cape, arm printing, and some scratches up armor to make it exclusive.
The $13 one doesn’t have arm printing, no exclusive head, standard print with no weathering, and no waistcape.
This way everyone gets a red, but people that pay the premium, also get a premium bonus with their set.
or maybe dont be satisfied with a worse product and with lego lying lmao while letting scalpers get a W. me personally, i will always push for higher quality lego products when it doesnt affect their profits at ALL. plus, scalpers getting fucked over is deeply satisfying to me.
they shouldve just never said rex would remain exclusive and shouldve included WAYYY more figures in the venator. for example, the resolute is literally anakin's flagship and yet he isn't included. additionally, figures like season 7 ahsoka with arm printing, arc trooper jesse, and a few extra clones (shinies, 332nd, or 501st) wouldve all been very fitting inclusions.

People are only mad that Captain Rex is not exclusive because someone assumed he was going to be exclusive and had that embedded into their brain and when a microfighter with him was announced, he couldn’t accept it so he decided to cause a whole controversy. And the person that started it is most likely Ryan from mandrproductions. Also, why would you even pay $600 for one figure, Because if the micro fighter didn’t exist Ryan would probably still get mad about the price of the venator

I don’t mind that everyone is getting the fig, I personally was upset cause I payed a higher price for the fig because I thought it was going to be rare. I didn’t buy the venator just the fig. And it was stated that it was going to be exclusive and therefore rare.
