The exercise of connecting the mind body connection by tightening the quad was the one I really needed. I have MS and as I did the exercises I couldn’t FEEL the tightening effort of my right quadriceps! After repeated practice of that exercise, I finally felt it! Thank you so much!
It's wonderful to find physical therapy exercises aimed at mature adults 50+. I cannot find the answer anywhere online (including your channel) to my problem of difficulty completely recovering from grade 1 turf toe from chronic repetitive overuse -- walking too much! I have always been a walker but after 2 total hip replacements (5 years apart 2018 and 2022), I've gotten terribly out of shape (I'm 76). From June 1, 2024 to July 20, 2024 I upped my daily steps to a minimum of 2000 per day, averaging 3200 and some days as high as 4200. By the end of July I became aware of pain in BOTH big toe joints as well as tenderness on the bottom of foot under 2nd to 5th MPT joints -- is it possible to have turf toe in all 5 MTP joints? I quit walking any more than I had to to rest feet and allow turf toe to heal. I switched to flat-footed cardio such as ellipticals (both recumbent and standing) and aqua jogging in deep water. As long as I do not hyperextend my toes by too much walking I'm OK, but my days of using my cross country ski exercise machine are over. You demo the full range of motion heel raise in stocking feet but that is too stressful for my feet. Even wearing shoes, this exercise made my forefoot and toes ache. Sigh. Can you please do a video on recovering from grade 1 turf toe?
Cause it's your mission to help the elderly I want to tell you this: I have frozen shoulders (stereo) about 2, 5 and 3 years . I had it before some 10 years ago (diagnosed) and in the gym an instructor helped me with some great exercises (without force) to cure it within one month. This time it seemed impossible to cure : I tried everything what I could find on TH-cam, but finally ONE side is completely pain-free, the other side the pain is still there but MUCH LESS ! The only change that I made perhaps one month ago, is having a proteine-shake after doing the daily exercises, milk with one big scoop of powder. I started doing that because of your advice hoping that I could avoid muscle loss. Guessed this might be interesting to you. Thanks for all you do. Kind regards Joop
Great Christmas gift, a reminder of some of the exercises we've done in earlier videos, plus a move for the inner range quads. Thanks very much, Will! 🎄 👍 🥰
I have pain in both knees. I can walk without difficulty but have lots of pain while going down the stairs. I also cannot sit in a low chair as it is difficult to get up. Can I still do these exercises. I am 73 years old.
Hi Will - just wondering what your view is of the treatment in this video....th-cam.com/users/shortsCGtwjaAjZzc Is it even available in many countries? Thank you and merry Xmas.
Very clear specific advice. I am 64, don’t have problems walking but still intend to implement strengthening of ankle, knee and hip. Thanks

I did similar knee stretches in rehab after my knee replacement. Good way to continue doing them.
