Still, after all of these years being an enthusiast, riding the Tower of Terror is just like magic. I still have know idea how they do it. Whilst it's one of the most mild drop rides out there, it's awesome. I very much look forward to fearing every drop!
By far THE best ride at Disney! Well, my favorite anyways. Even if you're not a fan of rides, this one is a must-do just for the experience. The entire ride is very well-done, amazing effects, and very thrilling!
Always thought this was the better of the two Tower of Terror rides from Disney. This one was more unique as the elevator actually moved forward along a track from one shaft to the next before beginning its sequence of drops (and then moves back at the end of the ride). The one in California's Adventure has newer technology and uses the same shaft throughout the ride. The things you learn befriending people that work on the ride when you're stuck & waiting for them to fix it...
My mom waited 3 years to get into this ride (She worked at Disney world) The wait was so long because it was the only ride that you didn't have to smile for because being unhappy fits with the theme. There were people from disneylands all over the world trying to get up in here
You have some awesome videos Sharp! Keep up the great work, I just wanted to say I have enjoyed watching many of your videos and they are all well filmed and give a good view on the rides! You have a new subscriber! :)
I've never watched a full ride through of Tower of Terror before now. I have to say that I'm very impressed with the build up of suspense. The dark ride component with the off kilter lighting is very effective.
i live all the way in australia and last year in september i went to LA :) we went to disneyland, universal studios and california adventure land, out of all the rides i went on this was my favorite by far!
Funny story: when I went on the same ride at Disneyland (I was 13 years old). My cousins convinced me to go in that ride. You know the elevator that you take to get to the actual ride? Well I thought that was the actual ride!!😂 I was like “omg we are doing this standing??” And I sat on the floor. Bracing for a drop, and then the doors open to the actual seats/ride and I was like “ooh” 😂😂😂
The last time I went on the Tower of Terror I was about 4 to 5 years old and I only went on this one. The only part I remember though was how steep the drop is. I can't believe I still remember this, I'm 14 now!
Well, I was like 3 or 4 when I went on it and I'm 14 now. But I remember it being a pretty big drop. It was so long ago, I can't really explain it. So, maybe because I was little it felt like a big drop, but it is still think it is pretty big. But why is your dad forcing you?
gonna be TOTALLY honest I couldn't ride this when I was 13 scared out of my mind I had a bit of a fear of certain roller coasters but im cool now need to go back to universal and do all the stuff I didnt do
Shap please can you tell me how or when or whatever, after all those videos of yours i've seen, all those rides, all those parks, there is like nobody in waiting lines. Everytime i go, i have to wait like an hour and half minimum to make a ride.
Me and the whole eighth grade at my school r going 2 Disneyland in May and we r going on a SCHOOL MONDAY! So hopefully, the lines will be REALLY short. :P : )
I didn't get to see on this video of the workers have to stay in character like they do in the California adventure one. basically when you get to the part where you're just about to get on the ride, they don't talk and act so creepy. when i went on it the first time I tried my hardest to get them to break character but they didn't
+iSuperdupaloveweed Some don't even try to act; some just take the shift so they don't have to smile- sure, regular Disney employees don't all the time, but have to do it half their shift. Pirates, Haunted Mansion, and Tower of Terror are one of the only rides were they don't need to smile at all, some on those rides just do act or something, others just didn't want to smile.
+SwimmingSkies huh. all the times I rode it in California adventure, the workers who were at the last part where they tell you what row to get in would always be in character. but that was quite a while ago
I remember going on that ride. While I getting on the people that worked there were dressed as bellboys. They acted like they were in a trace or something.
The only scary part of this ride is waiting in line for an hour
I know, it is :)
No way! That's so weird that u uploaded this today! Cuz I had a dream that I was filming this exact ride in my dream! That's soo weird!!!
Love the old-timey atmosphere and music in the entrance of this place! :)

This seems to be an awesome ride, i love how detailed the entire thing has been designed, I´d love to try it!

Incredibly Beautiful
One of the best attractions of the DisneyStudios. I love it!
And it is a awesome ride, great air-time, decent effects, and great detail, you'll love it!

i love this ride!!!!!!!! sharp, how do you go to all these places?
This Tower of Terror looks the best! The other ones don't look as scary!
i knew that and this ride is soooo epic and fun!!
Funny story: when I went on the same ride at Disneyland (I was 13 years old). My cousins convinced me to go in that ride. You know the elevator that you take to get to the actual ride? This ride kicks so much a** with the Mind Eraser (Darien Lake) and Rock 'N' Roller Coaster (Hollywood Studios, my favorite ride ever).
That looks good
The last time I went on the Tower of Terror I was about 4 to 5 years old and I only went on this one. The only part I remember though was how steep the drop is. I can't believe I still remember this, I'm 14 now!
Exactly how steep is it? My dad is forcing me to get on this ride, fucking scared to and im 18 -_-
Well, I was like 3 or 4 when I went on it and I'm 14 now. But I remember it being a pretty big drop. It was so long ago, I can't really explain it. So, maybe because I was little it felt like a big drop, but it is still think it is pretty big. But why is your dad forcing you?
I mean, even though I was scared out of my mind when I went on it, the drop was kinda fun. It's actually not that bad.
gonna be TOTALLY honest I couldn't ride this when I was 13 scared out of my mind I had a bit of a fear of certain roller coasters but im cool now need to go back to universal and do all the stuff I didnt do
Duuude! the rides in Universal studios are badass, especially the mummy and jurassic park
Just love Theme Parks
And this was the first ToT video I ever watched
Went on it. Cried.
I have been on that ride its awesome
Shap please can you tell me how or when or whatever, after all those videos of yours i've seen, all those rides, all those parks, there is like nobody in waiting lines.
Everytime i go, i have to wait like an hour and half minimum to make a ride.
did anyone else notice at 2:01 the little girl is holding a MICKEY MOUSE DOLL!
Ale Ing Yeah, because I have a hidden mickey book
😊😀
+Ale Ing #HiddenMickey
lol same
+Ale Ing And
I loved that ride so much I went on it 3 times!!!!!!!
I remembered I go on this 24/7 with my brother I want to go back there again
do u get the express pass or normal pass for rides
I like to ride this , but i might cry at this!!!!
Did you know that the drop sequence is never the same? No matter how many times you ride this, you will never get the same sequence twice.
When the elevator started moving, they left the door behind!
I get a weird feeling in the introduction room.
OMG! I love this ride! 😍😍
@Rodrigo Pecoits
Yes, It is.
10/10 would have theme song keep me up at night.
I went on it and I was in the front row its so cool you can almost see the whole park
the first time I was on this ride was when i was about 9 years old when it had just opened.
I still can't ride it to this day!
Me and the whole eighth grade at my school r going 2 Disneyland in May and we r going on a SCHOOL MONDAY! So hopefully, the lines will be REALLY short. :P : )
What is the name of the video at the last in the second
This was the first tower of terror video I had ever seen
in my opinion, Disney's greatest architectural and imagineering masterpiece. Space Mountain is a close second
that's one of my favorite rides at California adventure haha
when will you upload an update of the new six flags ride
I seriously want to ride one day!
I almost peed my pants on that ride!
Can TH-cam post the updated test track?
OMG!! I WENT ON THAT RIDE. IT WAS SCARY XD
I want to go on this so bad. Well, first I have to try the one here
I didn't get to see on this video of the workers have to stay in character like they do in the California adventure one. basically when you get to the part where you're just about to get on the ride, they don't talk and act so creepy. when i went on it the first time I tried my hardest to get them to break character but they didn't
Like dancing the Macarena in front of those english guards?

+SwimmingSkies I guess I just got lucky
André Domingues haha basically yeah. and i gotta give them credit, they didn't even seem like they were close to cracking
The technology on this ride is insane!
Sharp, after all of these rides, do they ever get boring? Do you still get nervous when going on them?
very smooth camera handling. which one did you use?
And by this in FLORIDA
Is this ride kind of like the Power Tower at Cedar Point?
I CAN'T WAIT I'm going to disney world in July I'm my friend is coming with me also 😃
I remember going on that ride. While I getting on the people that worked there were dressed as bellboys. They acted like they were in a trace or something.
This the only ride I'm gonna have second thoughts about riding it.
The beginning is what i picture going to Mowgli's Palace would be like
Went there today awesome I just hate how loud it is
Man i went on this ride back in 1999!
+Nick Granger Me too in 1999 - nearly p*ssed my pants when it dropped LOL
That elevator travels to the twilight zone!
I still got nervous just watching this video lol
the last time I went on this ride my scream sounded like I died, I kid you not
Maybe once you go on Falcons Fury that might change!
this is different than the one in california. the one over here doesnt move forwards and backwards as this one did
What do you do.?
dont they ban filming?
U went there on my B Day bro
this ride looks interesting
4:04 Scariest song ever.
Is it the 'dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun' from the theme song? That one gives me the chills.
I agree with you
"Its raining its pouring" are you talking about that?
I got scared and I almost got sick
I remember riding this when I was 5 lol
Is this in Florida or California??
yo fui a ese hotel 😉
Damn when do you go to the parks when theres almost nobody
I suppose you have to be there.
you can but the number of consecutive rides needed to have it happen is ludicrous.
cool but scary
Watching this in 2023 10 years after this video was made
Just time travel stuff
I went in it with my 10 year old cousin. He passed out during the ride and when it was over we had to put him in a wheelchair from the shock he had.
I pissed my pants on this ride
I hated this ride. It made me cry! Lol. I was so scared like I felt like I was dying in mid air
the fun part is getting launched in the air
wow the line ups can get pretty long
This ride made me vomit
I rode that and I yelled mommy out loud
